It's quite depressing that so many people seem to take delight in there being a smaller crowd tonight. I'll be there in the WSU, have a few beers and I'll try and enjoy it.

In the unlikely event that both teams score I hope that you will be celebrating all goals with equal enthusiasm and totally confusing anyone who doesn't know you? You could always take your shirt off when Huddersfield score to prove your Northern hardness.

...but it may be cold..lol

You really shouldn't have to TRY and enjoy it though

I have renewed for next season and will renew all the time I can afford it. As for this season, I'm done. My passion is at 0% and my motivation to get my arse down there is 0% too, I need a break from football.

I'll be there and will be optimistic as ever, but have to admit this season has been hard work at the best of times. Roll on the summer and a fresh start! :albion:

They dont deserve our support. Why should we turn up if they dont as has been the case far to many times this season?

I thought being a fan is a bit like marriage, for richer or poorer, in sickness and in health. Of course, for JCLs it' more like the simple divorce court!

Obviously will be the lowest number of tickets sold this season.

Very few Huddersfield and almost zero non-STH sales for this game.

If Wigan was 23,044 then my guess for tonight is 22,674 (which is embarrassingly low of course).

Zero non-STH sales? What a precious asset the huge STH base is. Preserving it should be an absolute priority for PB.

We appear to have played five Tuesday night league matches at the AMEX this year. Winning four, and drawing one. Worth showing up for.

Missing the point with respect. MOST STHs are JCLs. They need nurturing because if the JCLs divorce us we are in deep deep trouble.

Bollocks. Most JCLs will divorce us at the drop of a hat. Same as American Express would have cheerfully let the club go under if the planning application had not been approved. The huge majority of these people have ZERO loyalty to the club. Many are just looking to do a themed birthday party for their kids. For these people, the Amex is the new Pirates Deep. The core support is about 11,000.

What a sweeping generalisation. I have been watching Brighton since 1974 and I am a STH. I am a STH because it gives the club a guaranteed income stream.

I can't go tonight because of other committments, but that doesn't make me a JCL ot a fairweather fan.

Well, personally I can't wait for tonight's game. Nice weather, floodlit game, chance off a win! What's not to like. Come on you Seagulls!

For anyone not knowing Dave , he'll be the fella swirling his half and half scarf in support of both teams.

Meaningless game, midweek, against a mid table side with nothing to play for. One goal in five games, no wins, one shot on target the last game I went to. I'd go for a tenner, but twenty-odd quid? No way, not worth the effort

Third home midweek league game in a row? WAY to alienate the home support that live any more than about three miles down the road
