I just want someone from the top tier of the club to apologise for their mistakes this year.

In short our season ticket money has been pissed up the wall this season.

That said I will be renewing next season and I suspect every season until I drop.

We're not owed any apology.
We are fans, so we support the team, end of.

My brother in law probably won't but I probably will.

Presumably Tony's seat will become available, so there will be newbies probably either side...or empty seats.

It's only really seeing people around us that draws me to go week after week now. Football is superfluous.

Same here only since moved to Amex we've all had to disband. Some now 1901, some family stand, some moved to NSK when NW corner became available, some can't afford STs so irregular visitors meaning we can't get seats together, some moved away...means can often end up on own if one or two of us not going. Fortunately the gang around us in the north are good company and has stayed the same now for two seasons but it's not the same as going with those you went to Goldstone and Withdean with. Sadly modern stadia just ain't flexible - bring back standing and sensible pricing!

In short our season ticket money has been pissed up the wall this season.

Less than half of Albion's revenue each year is from tickets, and a healthy proportion of that is away tickets/matchday tickets. Sponsors, TV etc.

And Tony Bloom effectively subsidises every ticket sold at the Albion by £20 of his own money.

So the person "pissing money up the wall" is TB and its mostly all his own money.

If we stay up yes, if we go down unsure.

Due to work I normally miss two / three home games a season so will I get value for money by renewing. Also let's be honest it depends on cost, if we down do prices go down, Fleetwood at home on a cold and damp Tuesday night doesn't really float my boat.

Before you moan, yes I had a season ticket at The Withdean.

While I totally agree with your comments and the club and fans owe TB a huge amount of thanks. It is his choice to "Piss his money up the wall" as it is the fans choice to decide whether to renew season tickets or not.

Love my football days and the Albion, however at present are we getting value for money or being entertained, some weeks I walk out the ground and feel a bit cheated by what has been served up on the pitch.

I'll be back for more. The seat next to me, paid for and unused 80% of the time, will no longer be funded, so i would think at times i will have a stranger alongside me at times. My fellow STH doesn't need to keep his ticket now to find a nearby seat when he can make it a few times a year. I like my seat, all the moreso from last season onwards thanks to the disappearance of the uncomical hollerers behind me with their sardonic and bitchy critique of players like Barnes and Greer. So i'm less riled there. The view, halfway up the North just right of the goal, feels like it's mine and i don't want to give it up for now. I like being there and munching on a pie and singing a song or two and seeing on occasion some thrilling football. We're a tad identityless at present, the feeling of it all lowered a little, but that doesn't make it a bad experience.

No. (x2)

Life, work, disaffection with the Albion and the game as a whole has all played it's part. After 30 years of living my life around the days I make available for getting to the Albion, it is time to live my life a bit differently.

Yes & the 41 that sit around me will
Those that don't will find, in a few years, they have far fewer friends than they did when they had a ST

64% of what must be considered the hard core are intending to renew? I wonder what percentage of those who bought a season ticket expecting to be entertained but are not really hardened Albion fans will renew. It won't even be close to 60% imo

The club SHOULD be very concerned about renewals, whether they are or not remains to be seen.

Having not renewed for this season i'm not sure when i would buy a season ticket, having watched Burgess Hill 15 times this season and also following the fa cup through from the extra preliminary to the 5th round so far, looking at the costs it will be less than our two s/t in the esu.Thats including travel and overnight accommodation when required.Although always a Brighton fan this season has been my best footie experience since the 76/77 season and has helped me fall back in love with football. I'm sure the amex season ticket will be needed again but not just yet!:moo:

They SHOULD be very concerned because we are looking at around at least 5k not renewing as a starter - if they get the pricing wrong (Should be a price freeze as a minimum imo) then we could see ST renewals down by around 30-40% especially if we slip into Lge1, im just waiting for the spin that comes out from the club with the renewal letters. The whole season and especially our home performances have been shocking.

LOL. I would hope that the friends I see at the football are good enough friends that I will not lose them simply because I'm not sitting with them every fortnight.

Undecided. Sadly after many years Im moving into customer territory and therefore if the product is L1 then NO. If it is Champ then yes. Thats my minimum standard I expect to guarantee my renewal. Otherwise its picking and choosing games.
