Ah, more damage limitation trolls. Welcome onboard. Your first post on this thread and not one single sign of embarrassment just deflection. Well played, sir.

Which of course is why I referred to idiots.

My mistake in attempting reasoned debate on an NSC thread about Palace.

And I'm talking about the attitude of some of your fans in 2015.

So don't paint this as some "Brighton fans are whiter than white, Palace are all scum" nonsense. There are decent fans and a***holes on both sides.

Damn! Not even by the third post. These damage limitation trolls are hardcore.

A thread about one of your fans throwing a coin in a players' face and you're amused by a side issue. Strange, I would have thought that deep embarrassment and a little humility might have been the order of the day from Palace fans. You lot never cease to amaze me with the ways you try to apply damage limitation by turning the debate into something like us being in your shadow. It really matters to you, even today. Much more than your club's name being dragged through the mud AGAIN by idiotic fan behaviour.

Once, just once, I'd like a Palace fan to come on here and hold their hand up and say "yep, that's completely out of order" and leave it at that. Never gonna happen though with trolls like you always looking to point score. Laugh away at us then, troll. That moron who chucked the coin has done far greater damage to your club's name than any petty little point-scoring by you can do to our club. Ignorant tw*t.

Did you read my comments? Pretty unequivocal.

My comments about the admin were in response to Mellotron and 'wearing the past as a badge of honour'. We don't.

Don't talk to me on point scoring. You're one of a few on here more concerned about knocking Palace than following the Albion. Palace say black, you say white. I think it's pretty unhealthy and you might want to think about supporting your own club a bit more rather than pour bile on Palace. Maybe the Amex might be a bit more lively then.

Strange obsession some of you have - and yes I go back to the 70s etc and understand the rivalry.

P*ss off did you try reasoned debate. Your opening gambit was deliberately provocative and in no way an attempt at trying for some reasoned debate and it got even more aggressive from there.

Reasoned debate? Nah.

Derrr...Seeing as I quoted you and then posted a response that was specifically addressing your post, I think we can take it as pretty certain that I did read your comments, the pertinent part being:

Once, just once, I'd like a Palace fan to come on here and hold their hand up and say "yep, that's completely out of order" and leave it at that.

...something you didn't do. Christ, you lot are so transparent.

I'll repeat, for the slow ones, my first words on the thread - 'As a Palace fan it's indefensible and I hope they catch the moron. No two ways.' Is that clear enough for you.

You really are an angry man aren't you? Trying channelling some of that energy into supporting the Albion.

Says a Palace fan who on a pretty big news day for his club is spending his time picking fights with Brighton fans on a Brighton forum.

..I think it's pretty unhealthy and you might want to think about supporting your own club

I think I'll just leave that quote of yours hanging there for you to ponder over.

...and. your. last. words. on that. post. was. petty. point. scoring. and.'banter'.

Did you say the coin throwing was bad and just leave it at that? No you didn't, hence my comment. Poor show again from you.

I'm not painting Brighton fans as whiter than white though am I.

I am merely pointing out that Last night a Palace fan was shown to have thrown a coin at a professional footballer, almost taking his eye out, which is rather similar to the Rooney incident last season.

I did say the coin throwing was bad - but then answered another point raised in the thread. Let's leave it at that - I've got work to do and you've got to stick some more pictures up in your Alan Partridge-style Palace hate room. Strange.

Apologies, Buzzer, I should have sussed you a couple of years ago. The penny has finally dropped.

Do carry on the good work, that's an admirable game that you're playing.

Proper fans them lot, proper hard.

If only we had a drum and a load of spotty gimps wearing black hoodies to intimidate the corner taker.

If only you had a team that were good enough to get into the the Premiership to begin with, a team good enough to stay there and had a set of genuine fans that were good and loud enough to be regarded as one of the best in the country, you might not be so bitter towards your rivals.

Looking forward to playing both Charlton and Millwall next season in League 1? What is going on with the Sea Girls this season, I am used to you ladies being crap but I am surprised you are fighting relegation.

What do you make of coins being thrown at Newcastle players last night?

The difference in reactions to "shit-gate" was pretty telling though, don't you think?

Brighton fans almost to a man acknowledged how poor it was, and were embarrassed.

When it transpired that it was Palace all along, AND it was covered up by the club to let Brighton take the fall, did we see the same level of class from Palace fans? Did we buggery.

The strongly inferred homophobia in this paragraph isn't acceptable - please don't do it again on your return.

Ummm.

As much as I detest these morons, and can't stand the way they derail threads, I am failing to spot the homophobia in there.

 maybe you're right. I read "Sea girls" and "ladies" as implying homophobia - you know, effeminacy. But perhaps he just caught me in a bad mood? Him being a Palace fan, I'm not overly inclined to get the infraction reversed, tbh.

Amazing how the palace fans on this thread are throwing the thread off topic...

Nobody is saying we don't have idiots in our fan base - we do of course. But I have never seen an incident of Albion fans coin throwing in say the last 10 years off the top of my head. Palace 'fans' have done it twice in about a year - on one occasion many coins thrown at Rooney. It's piss poor and please don't come on here throwing the thread off topic or trying to turn it into the usual boring excuses ie how you didn't really mug off 'that many' local businesses in your administrations so it 'doesn't really matter' etc etc..

COIN THROWING x2 - Hope the FA take serious action.
