100% this.
At the fans forum he was talking about increasing attendances, his silence recently has been deafening.
Just over one month away from the renewal letters, he is going to need all of his pr skills to shift these in great numbers again.

I agree with the sentiment but i do worry that too many fans are starting to revel in the idea that season tickets may fall so as to punish Barber and to prove that he is a knob. That may not the case with you of course

Yeah really ,time to reclaim football back to it's rightfull followers, makes me really angry to think that grubby money making sharks have infested our great game and turned it into a rip off extravaganza :angry::angry:

Season ticket renewals will fall regardless of what division we are playing in next season.
A car crash of a pre season, poor recruitment of a manager with no experience of the Championship, poor replacement of quality/ proven players, price increases on st's, merchandise, food etc, 3 home wins, poor football, the list goes on , have all contributed.
Barber is the spin doctor, if we were doing well he would be telling us so.
He is not to blame, however he is part of the problem.

Wouldn't disagree with any of that :)

Only one home win on a Saturday is the biggest pisser for me as I can't do midweek games from down here and I will be honest and say because I have laid out for a ST I come down now for the social bit on a Saturday as I know the footy will be dire but it's an excuse to have a few beers etc. but the 3 of us aren't renewing next season

I love this club, and credit to those that are happy to pay £500 for a season ticket in league 1 to watch crap football.

But there's no chance I'm paying that, which having had a season ticket since the age of 7 would be a shame.

It's simply not worth it in my eyes.

The biggest problem will be the availability of tickets each game which may stop people who miss midweek games from renewing As you will be able to buy a ticket for every Saturday game. This could happen even if we stay up but will be more noticable if we are relegated.

I will renew for the simple reason I've supported the club all my life, I've watched them at the bottom of the old fourth division and I've watched them in the top division. Enjoyment is relative, i don't go to watch the best players in the world, if I wanted that I'd stay home and watch Sky. I go because I really enjoy it, I've watched some really good exciting games in the bottom division and I've seen some real stinkers in the top divisions. I love it when we win, hate it when we lose, but, in the grand scheme of things, I know I'll always come back for more, because I love this club, and really believe it is unique in British football

That is my view. After 67+ years not going to stop now.

If, and its a very big if, we went down, there would be more Saturday games, so you'd be able to go more.

I don't think there would. If anything, there could be less Saturday home games if we were drawn away in the early rounds of the FA Cup etc, and games having to be re-arranged for midweek instead.

There would be at least 3, , because of international weekends
