Think Pulis can safely be ruled out..

it wont be Pulis to West Brom, it may be Sherwood to West Brom and Pulis to Newcastle? WBA have a prat, Jeremy peace as chairman and a strict DOF arrangement, this is from Jeremy Peace wiki.... still reckon Pulis might go there???

"In 2013, the Daily Express reported that Peace "runs the club with a rod of iron. Any manager has to accept the title of ‘head coach’ and must be prepared to slot into the way Peace does things."

I did say in a previous post the other way round. Pulis to West Brom/ Newcastle or us( Mike Ashley may find it difficult)
Sherwood West Brom or Newcastle.

Knowing Collymore is a Villa fan and knows a bit thats going on at the club, it wouldn't surprise me if Villa were the club he's referring to?

But Randy Lerner is not willing to invest..... "on a shoestring" is not the Pulis type of owner.

Think people need to start looking down the leagues , like L1 as its where we do business these days.

Rumour was Robinson was approached and said no, so my guess is to start looking lower than him.

All this Pulis talk is just fantasy.

What's Cherie Lungi doing these days?

I doubt that many know exactly what Pulis is looking for in a club. I guess we will find out soon enough. Most people seem to think it's a longshot him coming to Brighton and that seems about right to me.

firstly what the fudge would Stan Collymore know about such matters, the second why is anyone suggesting Pulis to Newcastle. it makes no sence, they are 10pts clear of trouble why should they need a change at all, let alone to someone known for large spending and inelegant, direct football.

Lets not kid ourselves here. Pulis stock is high at the moment and as 8Ace has helpfully provided there are at least 5 prem clubs that he will be eyeing up.

There will be some itchy trigger fingers come Jan.

If we'd have got rid of Hyypia sooner like we wanted we MAY have had a chance to get Pulis.
Not now though, so let's not fanny around for a week or two waiting for him to say no thank you.

Pardew was a random appointment in the first place at Newcastle wasn't he ? As for Kinnear.

Nothing would surprise me up there... Houghton given a second go ?

Not only Hypia the stumbling block was Burke as Pulis made clear to a mutual friend some 3 or 4 weeks ago. I think the best option at the moment is probably Hughton. If it is a question of lacking finance I would consider Peter Reid as No 1with his experience to guide NJ as No2/coach.

Leicester could be the club in question (in the sense that Collymore might consider it a disgrace for a club promoted from the Championship to bin off the manager who got them there so soon).

Failing that, I see Bruce in trouble, after today's result, and bearing in mind how much money he's spent. Irvine at WBA looks fairly sure to go as well. Palace's (yet to be appointed) next manager is, apparently, already 8th favourite to be fired :lolol:

Or Martinez after being replaced by McClaren, unless McClaren get the Newcastle Job possibly.

I'd be happy with Hughton.

Stan Collymore reporting he has 4 Premiership offers on the table. 1 from a club who would be a 'disgrace' to sack the incumbent.

Thankfully we can move on from this potential nightmare scenario :jester:

If you were Pulis and pulis' agent with only brighton and palace available and with palace whom you have recently walked out of the job with clearly some major differences. Before you took the Brighton job wouldn't you put out a rumour to show to all other teams to tempt out any other offers, and who better to circulate a bull rumour than some one like Stan Collymore....

Just speculating...

Well. If true that came out of the blue. All this time Chris Hughton as favourite and unfancied Chris Houghton gets it
