Comedy post obviously, but I bet we'd be well clear of relegation by the end of January and in the summer he'd be happy to tear Burke a new ******** in the press.

So all in all, I'd probably quite like this to happen. :lolol:

The other advantage is that it would probably condemn relegation rivals rovrum to the drop.

I'd be stunned if Tony Pulis had any interest, he'll get a bigger club than us to manage if he bides his time.

Tim Sherwood I'd also be surprised by unless he's getting a bit desperate, I don't think he'd want to risk a relegation to League 1 on his CV.

Zola is best mates with Poyet, another one I just don't see happening.

Curbishley doesn't seem interested in management anymore.

Billy Davies or Nigel Adkins - No thanks, hate them both!

I do think Pulis....although what anyone can do with the players we have now i don`t know.....with Buckley..Bridcutt..Ulloa.Vincente..Barnes..maybe Hypia could have done well

Looking back over the last ten years, it's clear that the only solution that guarantees success on the pitch is to pick some low-UID, high-posts-total member of NSC to manage on a rotating basis. Change every three weeks or so.

The sheer amount of nous here is such that the board is in constant danger of collapsing under the gravitational force exerted by a mass that size. It should be harnessed.

I nominate BensGrandad.

The current squad is a total shambles and I doubt many decent candidates fancy risking their career and reputation on David Burkes recruitment. Hopefully Hyypia's resignation forces the club to wake the **** up.

We want a strong personality because he has to deal with barber and Burke, they have ruined Hyppia. A man manager, someone who has a track record of winning, could even be a lower division. A motivator, a tactician, someone to sort out the midfield and give confidence to our loan striker, this dreadful situation needs to be addressed. We should put up a cv and and match candidates to this, at the moment some of the suggestions are laughable.
The big question who will come here given our record with managers.

One clear candiate: Paolo Di Canio

Experience as both a player and a manager at the highest (inter)national levels.
Managed a successful promotion season. In an English league.

But above all, passion.
Because that's the only thing that really matters in a manager, isn't it?

Frank psychosis, sure and a a terrible man-manager.
But you've got to concede my point about passion....

I see several have completely missed your point

Mark McGee offered to stand in temporarily when Poyet left, so I think he could do a good job here, and with all his connections he would do a better job than Burke as well.

Bloom was the man who forced his sacking wasn't he? Not going to happen. If it did I imagine London Irish, Uncle Spielberg and I would be the only ones who would be pleased :lolol:

Barber and Burke will probably want another manager they can control. What we need is another Gus type, passionate about his career and willing to challenge decisions and recruitment.
