Obviously the thread starter liked The Judge once......

i cant believe how badly Lady Gull was treated on here, and most of the people were right ***** to her.

If she has decided to leave NSC for good and join up to Seagulls Chat then good luck to her.

All of the decent posters will leave this forum and join Seagulls chat in the future, because of the shit that they get on here. If your not part of the Binfest clique then there is nothing on here for you anymore.

Look at the SHIT Lady Gull, the Judge and the Bollox Crew got.

Do you really blame them?

Because they manage it at plenty of other much bigger grounds around the world with a far superior atmosphere to the Amex?

And different cultures, pricing structures and levels of evolution.

Germany - cheap beer, cheap sausage, safe standing, cheap tickets

Brazil - people living in Favelas can still watch (unless the Beeb faked that footage pre World Cup)

Italy - Ultras control whole sections and always have. Can turn up at training and threaten anyone they please.

Turkey - see combination of Germany and Italy only cheaper

Croydon - Dressing up in black and w**king over a drum is far more attractive than spending an "estate day" with the sort of people who hide their grandkids in an attic or burn their own shops

Rest of Britain - ripping off / pricing out the very people that provide the atmosphere that the sale of the game was first based on.

The thing is we don't give a flying **** . We have nothing against anyone we turn up have a few beers try and create an atmosphere make up a few songs and have a laugh . why not come on board . Or just come up and tell us to our faces what you want us to sing . I am sure we can sort things out
I also thought you lot were one of the only highlights along with the man-seagull today. I was sitting close by amongst non-singers and empty seats, frustratingly too far away to join in the singing with my small balls.

Some ego's are feeling a bit touchy here I think. The PBF folks really are just getting behind the team, and in all honesty far more than anybody else.

Yet Hillian and Daz want to have a pop, why?

Well said mate, that's exactly the situation. Maybe people should put more effort in in the stands then posting negative, bitter and unnecessary posts

Back in the day when the North Stand was all standing it was no different. Yes, it was easier to stand together in the middle, but we didn't always sing the same songs, sometimes we improvised depending on what happened during the match. And, yes there were 1-2 people who were recognised as being the ones most likely to start the songs..but that added to the fun.

I remember one day when the Bill were trying to stop this one guy starting the 'knees up Mother Brown,' chants. He kept popping up all over the North Stand with the uniforms always about 10 seconds behind. It was like something out of the Keystone Cops.

I guess the point I am trying to make is encourage these guys - the team need all the support they can get.

Contact the club . They want the ground buzzing as we do . The more people we get in the North west the better it will move the day ticket people to other parts of the ground and put more people who want to get behind the team in one place . Come on get involved lets make home games like away days :ascarf:

The suits don't care if the ground is buzzing. The suits want their £10 admin fee for every seat swapped per game.

There is something pretty sick about this thread. I don't agree with picking out individual fans, our own fans at that and what comes across to me as a very cowderly attempt at intimidation and bullying behaviour by the thread starter. Not something I like or want to see on our fans forum.

From the perspective of the WSU, it seems as though the people in the centre of the North, who originally seemed to be the singers when the Amex opened, have all stopped bothering. I appreciate they're slightly further away from my position so it may be I don't always hear their singing, but you can usually tell when a crowd is making an effort, because you can see people clapping and so on. I just see the guys in the NW corner making most of the effort these days, and frankly, all power to them. Somebody has to try.

All this pettiness does rather come across like the "old school" singers in the middle getting the hump because somebody else has stolen their thunder. I think it's quite a pity really. If only there could be some joined up chanting going on, rather than just the old boys in the centre sulking, and nobody in between the two sets joining in, it might sound great. We need the atmosphere to be ramped up at times: getting sniffy over songs because it's not your mates singing them doesn't really do anybody any favours, does it?

Keep on, NW corner chaps. And throw in some slowed down songs and a few old favourites at times please. Ta.

Safe standing? Right that's that bit done with, nowt happening there then.

Chap in question ain't the Messiah, he is a bloke who has followed the club for at least 30 odd years, and has the balls to start chant after chant. Comes from my old stomping ground, others around him too, a number of folks from the bad guys of the 80's too.

No just get bad press on here from people that we never post on here . Like i say you know what i am about and the people who i mix with we have no hidden agenda . Let us know what you want us to sing and we will sort it . Like i say all welcome i am no super fan just support the team . Come over and meet the lads

Yes, I would support The judge on this. By fluke, we were positioned near them at Watford. He did a great job leading the singing and everyone just seemed to be having a good time whilst supporting the team.

Like others have said GOSBTS needs to be slowed right down and as per The Commander we should use more of the older songs......
