Play on my surname and a nickname I was given. Also the name of a fantastic synth I would like to own one day.

Caw. Can you believe no one had picked this name before 2009?
But as I am a seabird of the family Laridae in the sub-order Lari, it seemed a no-brainer to me.
Caw. Are you going to finish those chips?

I have had three in my time here: Pit bull, a cricketer pal coined that when one game I was particularly aggressive towards the opposing batsmen...and all snarly and petulant!
Then dave the gaffer, named by lady Bracknell when I used to run the REMF football team in the early days.
Finally granny weatherwax, a cantankerous old witch in the discworld books by terry pratchett. Seemed to fit nicely.
If tomorrow's announcement at work goes bad it could be changed to "lookingforajobatmyage" :(

Mine was from when I started watching them as a nipper at the Goldstone, whilst the team were still also known as The Dolphins. That, and all the better names I could think of had already gone! :p

At one point with NSC you entered your username as you posted - hence the thread filled with posts from various Pete's. About that time I think people were being negative about DK (plus ca change) and I took on the persona of his mother, posting about drinking halves of milk stout down the Hove British Legion, preparing his Sunday lunch, and defending my son.

Then there came the moment when everyone's NSC name were re-named as drinks - and Mumm stuck.
