I thought we did well. To enter partially into the CMS debate, it's a mixed bag for me, with sadly a small hole in the bottom corner which is where the grain called patience and generosity are kept and clearly leaking. He does work hard, and appreciate him for doing that and sometimes tiring the legs of defenders, but by the power of Greyskull his touch is an embarrassment to behold and an almost constant frustration. I feel for him and don't doubt he works endlessly to improve, but he just doesn't seem to be that player, or even a player, really. I'll sing his name and cheer his endeavour, but i'd like this Albion chapter to find new characters for his role when a window opens for us to do so. Maybe Baldock will do, but if so then he needs to be our main man, obviously depending on the reasoning for his non-appearance today, and slot into our pass and move stylings without his shin being his main tool.

or could have weakened the side defensively and we conceeded a goal so no points.

Blimey, you really adore boring football don't you. You must have been in your element when drOscar was here. Seriously if we're going to play 1 striker he needs to be there to score and not to be used as a 10th defender.

tough game today, think if anyone was to have won it, Brighton deserved it more than ourselves, specially 2nd half.

CMS gave Mancienne his toughest test this season. everything seemed to land at his feet and stick there. you probably need somebody up there with him though.

we've been relying on moments of individual skill to that the points all season, but its dried up the last 2 matches..
Need Reid and Fryatt back ASAP to get some momentum back.

I am honestly expecting a drubbing today. I will be so happy if I am very very wrong

Well. I am over the moon to be very wrong. A positive away point. Let's hope this gives the lads more belief and pushes us on a little

No I adore picking up points and if that is the only way to be succesful so be it. Interesting to hear the final summing up by WA on Radio Sussex when he said it was a good all round performance and that CMS looked eager and keen but until we learn to get that final pass through to him we will struggle to score goals.

I have to say I was relieved when I learnt that Fryatt was still out, as he has a habit of scoring against us.

Agree with this CMS never really had a clean ball to strike.

Agree with this! As much as I love his enthusiasm he needs to look along the line a take the one or two chances that comes his way. Sadly I just don't think he is up to this division. Would love to be proved wrong though!
I have been thinking this since before his injury. Maybe get a million in January and thanks for your never ending enthusiasm and effort Craig, but your father-in-law is calling?

Wouldn't be surprised if Posh buy him in January for £250k instead of us letting him go for nothing at the end of the season.

Why don't we wait till January BEFORE offloading CMS.

We all know he's capable of a run of goals.
It would seem we have a team willing to support and supply him.

All we need is for both things to happen at the same time.

There's nearly 20 matches between now and then, desperately trying to get rid in September seems a little churlish.

Pleased with 0-0. Hindsight said one midfielder, Holla in this game, was superfluous and we could have had another striker on (if we had one).

I'd take 0-0 away in the play-offs. Now to sort out our home form!

Agree with this CMS never really had a clean ball to strike.

I'm sorry to say that isn't the case. Macca had at least two very good chances late on and failed to work the keeper. He'll be bitterly disappointed not to have won the game for us.
