Pantheism will be the mindset/belief of the majority of the worlds population in the near future if you choose to believe it or not. Nothing has changed since the big bang. There is no separation. Everything is the same thing. Just different shapes and forms. Everything you perceive or judge as 'good' or 'bad' is all you.

What a crock of shite...tell me about this Big Bang theory?do you have proof of this from so called billions of years ago?
You're presuming a myth tells us something....while I'm living in the real world

It's like the two sides of a coin. The two sides aren't really separate, because the idea of separation is just thoughts labelling parts of a whole pattern. The coin is the whole pattern, and the sides are parts of that pattern.
You can't have one side without simultaneously having the other side, and if you try to make one side go away, you'll end up with no coin at all. The idea of pleasure and pain arise mutually.
This is basic Eastern philosophy. Everything is God/or whatever this reality is. Just like individual puzzle pieces make up a whole puzzle, everything is a puzzle piece of infinity/God/this reality. Even more so, even acceptance and non-acceptance are one. no need to accept anything, no need to not accept anything, either.

I like to say that the thing we all have to realize is that we are significantly insignificant. You, being yourself is the most significant thing to you, but at the same time you are no more significant than anyone else. Your potential is endless as well as everyone else.
"I am he as you are he as you are me and we are all together"
Much love

However you should really accept that you know nothing at all, because that's true wisdom.

Sure, most definitely.

However, I've had my share of LSD, DMT and ayahuasca experiences and, for me personally, the conclusion of those trips confirmed that we indeed live in a sick ego-driven world filled with unnecessary suffering. But at the end of the day it's just events happening on some rock, orbiting some star. It's all really insignificant. It's only our problem-seeking human egos with our nationality and border disputes that dramatize everything daily mail style. Sure, defend your country, town, street, house, yourself from people that believe in something different than you, but deep down there really is no 'us' vs 'them'. They/them are just the polar opposite of you. It's rooted deep-down into reality.

They might have been right for all we know if horse drawn-traffic had kept increasing.

But it didn't.... And even if it had, someone would have found a way to deal with it.

Holy shite we have some freaks in this country...you know lovely muslims fair enough, but they change rather quickly once extremist get to their heads, just like the 500 who were recently brainwashed even more.

Once 500 becomes 5,000 then 10,000 then you'll know it...Open your eyes

So, you're going to hate/fear an entire set of peoples because they might be led into extremism?

No you shouldn't hate but you have to ask questions. At what point is there seperation between moderate and extreme in this country.
For example you could look at the wearing of the burka as being more in area of extreme thinking. In France it is banned, in an area of Switzerland it is or going to be banned.

I'd view a ban of the burkha as fairly extreme; at least as a response to it being worn.

I don't know, maybe I'm just a soft liberal leftie; I just don't see the need to get up in arms about some perceived threat to our national identity.

Lots of non muslim men and women seem to agree that the Burkha is bad, but then again, ive seen countless muslim, burkha wearing women interviewed, who find it a comfort, and prefer to wear it.....who do I believe? People who actually wear it, or people who will see offence in every corner of the universe, particularly if muslims are involved?

Indeed. Loads of burkha wearing muslims here and it is not viewed as an issue. As long as people stick within the laws of a particular country, they can do as they please as far as I am concerned. It's a free country, and all that.

As long as people stick within the laws of a particular country, ...,...

We have a winner...........this, in one sentence, gets right to the core of the whole issue........
