This was more than a Tory cover up.

For several years, a list of alleged ‘VIP’ customers of the guest house has been circulated by child welfare campaigners. Among the names are a number of senior MPs, a high-ranking policeman, a leading tycoon, figures from the National Front and Sinn Fein, an official of the Royal Household, an MI5 officer, two pop stars and the traitorous Soviet spy Anthony Blunt.

If this uncovers concrete proof of a high level Tory cover up, will that effect the result of next years General Election?

That and the career of one of the biggest music figures this country has ever produced?

And possibly his freedom?

Also a prominent Sussex MP if the allegations are true.

* I suggest you read up onTom Driberg to counter argue this for starters*

I have to admit I had never heard of the 'Elm Guest House' until today but after reading the stuff posted here and elsewhere on the internet the size and scope and of the true story here is terrifying. It makes sense of so much we have heard recently and so much that was heard by so few decades ago.
Please make yourself aware of this information, it's not just another conspiracy theory, most is backed up by evidence.

I'm not wishing to muddy the waters, but what is this so called evidence?

I guess that depends on your personal definition of evidence, certainly the documents from the guest house are very convincing and the accounts from those abused at the guest house. The fact that among the names are many who have since the documents first came to light have been found guilty in court of similar offences.
Lord Tebbits general comments this morning were very telling. The fact is this stuff is no secret to so many people, it was known, there are attempts to get this stuff out through the press going back decades that have always led to nothing, until now.

The scope of this is terrifying and massive, if it's all found to be correct, the institutional elements and the level of establishment cover-up this will change everything. The nature of the police, security services, parliament and local government could have to change and a whole section of UK history would be changed totally.

Indeed. Maybe the anarchists were right after all?

Hitherto, it is men in the field of entertainment that have singularly been brought to justice via the likes of Operation Yewtree. This makes the cover-up look worse because the politicians and civil servants have failed to nail their own kind, some of whom have got up to stuff that makes Dave Lee Travis and Rolf Harris conduct look tame by comparison

Full marks to the British press for forcing the issue. It really is time to name, shame and jail the wrongdoers, but titillating the readers with another oldie from the world of music would be a missed opportunity. The real story is the endemic link between politics, the abuse of power and the extent to which politicians, civil servants and the police will - even now - cover important stuff up.

Its a bit of an odd question you have posed,it seems the police did indeed have dealings with the place in the early 80`s,while the Tories were in power. There must indeed be questions asked if this was brushed under the carpet. However if and i do say if some of the names involved are true concerning Elm House and given the fat MP was a frequent visitor and also there have been rumblings it seems for years about this place it would be amiss not to say it would be very naive to take your stance and blame this as some sort of mass Tory conspiracy. Im thinking the silence on these issues may be cross party.

will it effect next years election.

if its true yes.....anyone standing saying try us for a new start dont trust the main three, they have lied to you for years........will be bound to get a good start.

thing is though,if there is an enquiry you will never get any resolution or feedback of guilty parties before the election anyway.

Full marks to the British press for forcing the issue.

this is true, some sections of it have acted appallingly recently regarding other well known issues. But a free press is vital.

my conspiracy nutter hybrid brain makes me wonder why the establishment have been gunning to control the press recently......could it be????
