Brighton / Hove actually
Apologies if this has been posted on one of the many threads already (I can't imagine it hasn't).

When asked about planning for next season at the Amex Stadium, the Spaniard appeared coy on his future.

"The squad gave me everything and it has been a real pleasure to be their manager," 41 year-old Garcia told BBC Sussex.

"We have dealt with a lot of injury problems this season, and I have to tell the players I am very proud of them, then we will see what happens."

Yep, he also said "We are disappointed, but if you see the whole picture, it has been a very good season."

And when asked about transfers for next season he said "Ask the club"

I just hope if Oscar decides to leave, for whatever reason, we have an idea on who can be our next manager; and that we aren't left clueless during the summer transfer window while our players contracts run out.

Lol i have no idea either way. I've just been updated on this by my dad who has just seen the report on the TV. Doubt its a exciting development but he seemed certain they are discussing this now.

Well unless Bloom invited Oscar to Hove Pizza Express half an hour ago I doubt they're discussing anything together. #oscarwatch

Pep Guardiola has told Bayern Munich that it's up to them whether he suits the club.

Pep 4 next BHAFC manager!

No thanks. has no plan B and looked liked a deer caught in headlights when his side were being well beaten in the CL. Would you really want to watch a side told never to shoot from outside the area?

Of course you can - it's happened to me ( obviously not in football ) - imagine the conversation being more like :

Q - "We may have a vacancy coming up if A,B and C happen. Would you be interested if so ?"
A - "Yes, if A,B and C happen I'd be very interested."

It's happened to me too:

Q - "We may have a vacancy coming up if A,B and C happen. Would you be interested if so ?"
A - "No, ta."

This is so like the end of last season it's unreal. I had come to terms with the defeat. We lost to a better side. It happens. Then the Oscar bombshell is dropped and it's May 2013 all over again.

So the next two weeks of my life will be spent clicking "refresh" in the faint hope of news that never comes.

Yes I too had hoped to give NSC a rest for a while, no offence everyone, but seemingly not.

Not the real one
Clearly Oscar is not happy with David Burke and the playing budget. For me, I'd like Oscar to have his own No.2 in place of Jones and get rid of Burke. Either that or Oscar goes and Jones and Burke goes with him.
Burkes transfers this season apart from Ward have been awful. Stephens still has a lot to prove although I think will come good. Lita, Obika, Rodriguez, Andrews, and not signing Conway. Awful transfer dealings.

Ward, Stephens and Conway (loan) were excellent signings.
Lita and Andrews should have been similarly good.
Lingard scored some important goals, though flattering to deceive on a fair few occasions.
Rodriguez was desperation after Grabban played with us.
Not sure what Obika was about but you can't get them all right.

The bloke gets such unfounded criticism.

Not signing Conway and the Grabban transfer mess also with Lita, Obika, Rodriguez, Andrews and for me Lingard wasn't that great, his ambitions of playing for man united are way off.
It's more the Conway and Grabban cock ups and only signing Chicksen in the summer when the squad needed a little more investment, that give me no confidence in Burke.
As long as he is in his position I can't see any decent managers wanting to work with him.

QUOTE]

"They" really weren't. Ward was.

Stephens looked top notch before his injury. Conway was excellent whilst on loan. We wanted to sign him but were trying to adhere to FFP and Blackburn offered cash. Not sure exactly how that's Burke's fault. Nor Grabban using us to secure a new contract.
