If he has done anything wrong, it's Clarkson's first offence. We need to put it in the context of all his time on top gear, and set against that backdrop it's clear it was entirely innocent. A quiet word from the BBC or a bit of training (which I'm sure wouldn't be necessary anyway) will ensure this remains a one-off

Well there's that too but Nibs' piss take was almost a carbon copy of one of their studio discussions the last time I watched, which was admittedly ages ago. How anyone's managed to make a programme about cars last that long is beyond me.

I don't love all of them (was glassed by one a long time ago) but on the whole I regard them as a good bunch and his ongoing twattery towards people who really know about fast road use without a metal safety cage does rather piss me off.
