I thought Greer played very well today and deserved his MOTM award, normally the sponsors give it to a goalscorer of the game.
Like others have said before, GG won a couple of last ditch challengers and one occasion sprayed a lovely Champagne pass down the middle to Lua Lua, which he was only inches away from.

Casper - 7, for his skillz, I could have played in goal against that lot.
Bruno - 7
Upson - 8, A rock
Gordon - 8.5, edges Upson due to a couple of last ditch stops.
Ward - 7.5 slightly more attacking than Bruno.
Andrews - 7.5, NSC talking out of it's arse shocker.
Stephens - 6.5, Still seems slow on pass selection, I expected more esp after Tues.
March - 7
Kaz - 7.5
Jesse - 8
Leo - 7.5, half a point more than he should get as no histrionics or hissy fits.

Sorry. I think you're badly wrong on this. Lingard probably just edged MotM today, but Stephens ran him hard.

Solid mix of 7s and 8s all round. Leo was fantastic at knocking the ball down left and right under pressure, and supported well by my MOM Lingard who was busy all game. Stephens looked good, Upson and Greer handled what little they had to do very well and even KLL was seen to be tracking back and tackling. Only caveat in all of this is that Charlton were awful.

Casper 6.5
Bruno 7
Greer 8 -- really impressive today
Upson 7
Ward 7.5
Andrews 7.5 -- his best game at home for a long, long time
Stephens 8 -- he's an enormous presence, great dynamism, technically very good, closed them down, and tidy in possession. We got him very cheaply.
March 7
Lingard 8.5 MotM -- brilliant movement, pace and control, took his goal really well, linked up very well with Leo
LuaLua 7.5 -- good in the first half but was tiring, and should have reacted better to going off
Ulloa 8 -- great strength and finish, linked well with Lingard

JFC 7.5 -- good composure and impressive finish
Calde 7 -- made me smile
SD*2 n/a

The ref 9 -- best one we've had this season
Oscar 8.5 -- got his selection and tactics spot-on: we needed to go at them from the off, and we did.

Nah, I was happy with Greer, would have been happy with Lingard.
Stephens was a long way from MotM.

As said maybe I expected too much, but he just doesn't get the ball away quick enough.

Charlton were pretty much just making up the numbers today. It felt like a training match, to the point that some of our attacks lacking urgency seemed appropriate.

Ankergren 7 - not a lot to do, kicking fine, one or two iffy moments on balls across the box
Bruno 7 - seemed involved a lot in attacks
Greer 7 - good reading of the game covering loose balls
Upson 7
Ward 7
Andrews 7
Stephens 7
Lingard 7.5
Lualua 7
Ulloa 7.5
March 7

JFC 7
Calderon - A forward?!
Rodriguez - Not much chance to do anything

Some of our fans need to relax. The anger directed at the team from some of the people around me when we were 2-0 up, just because Charlton had the ball in our half. No perspective.

Great performance as a team. KLL was superb and I would have been pissed if I were him, being subbed. He was our main threat.

The Gordon Greer Hater in the Upper East almost had a seizure when he was announced of MOM, much to the amusement of those around him. I don't get this guy. Him, his (I assume) father and girlfriend boo him from the moment he is announced on the teamsheet. Well = GG was great today. Some tidy last ditchers, and his passing was pretty spot on. Great game.

Lingard is looking more a part of the team and I also thought Andrews and Stephens were worth mentioning today.

More of the same please!

The Astral Planes, man...
Rodriguez? I thought it was Spanish Dave who came on at the end and why was Calde playing as a striker?
It would have been an ideal game to bring on CMS for the last 15 mins or so as the crowd were well up for him as he warmed up.

Casper deserves a extra point for running almost up to their penalty area after we scored the third and Calde an extra 2 for the excellent coaching when we had the ball in their half while he was "warming up" it was him who told Stevens to pass to March when he almost scored from outside the box.

why was Calde playing as a striker?
Because he was told:-
keep it tight and support Bruno.

He heard:-
No defending, yippeee, is it Christmas.

Heard a rumour that Kusczack left out because of some bust up with another player, not "ill".

Heard that he reported sick late this morning.

Just a thought. But I reckon you will get a better view from those watching the stream. You get a much better perspective of what is happening.

You really don't. On the stream/tv you only see what the camera's pointing at so miss anything off the ball. Watching the game live you get the whole picture.

Must admit I thought March didn't have a good game by his high standard. Lingard MoM and Greer Stephens and Ulloa deserve mentions for sure!

Yes that's right. You can see what's happening on every part of the pitch at the same time.
