..but his Kelly Le Brock surely betrays a love of Weird Science - a guilty pleasure for many of us. My favourite scene is when they say to each other "Who'd want to come to our party??" They open the door, and, in true, triumphant, US 80s cheesarama style, the whole garden is full of cool-looking partying dudes wearing jackets with rolled-up sleeves/some 30 year-old men in leather jackets and make up, all raising their fists to the heavens, bellowing "WE DO!!!!" What a moment. The camper of the two geeks is now an academic:
Ilan Mitchell-Smith received his BA in Medieval Studies from UC Davis and his MA in Medieval Studies from Fordham University. He received a doctoral degree from Texas A&M University in 2005, and he is currently an associate professor in the English department at California State University, Long Beach. I don't think these are part of his studies in chivalry. Or are they lesser known Kelly Le Brock films that passed me by?
I think I'd quite like to have seen KLB in 'Suckling Pig'.
