What year are we waiting for ? Does the additional seating come into play, and the change of method of finance for the transport ?

It's the year ended June 2013.

The additional seating brings in less income than people estimate. At an average of (say). £15 per head to the club (after taking into account concessions, VAT and the transport levy) an extra 4,000 fans per match brings in £60k a game, or about £1.4 million in a season.

Would depreciation come into it for the club's accounts? I thought a separate entity owned the Amex.

It will appear in the holding company accounts.

I'm no accountant but would it not be in the club's interest to declare as much as they can in last year's accounts to minimise this years losses to come in line with FFP?

Yes, as much loss will be piled into the next set of accounts as possible, to account for it before FFP. Expect very bad figures I reckon - much higher than an 8 million loss - and much heartache on here and 'concern' from palace posters.

QPR seem to be another club that are doing it without much concern for the FFP rules hoovering any talent they can up in a bid to get to the premier league. Will be very amusing for everyone if one of these clubs that is doing this does fail and the possible penalties they might be going to receive for not follow the FFP guidelines

Correct me if i am wrong but aren't Bolton in ALOT of debt surely they will be one of the first to face punishment?

I read elsewhere that Bolton's debt is almost identical to Brighton's, i.e. 100m+ owed to the owner interest-free with no plans to call it in

CPFC2010 have an infinity with the fans because they are fans. Allam earlier on today has threatened to walk way from the club he owns if he isn't allowed to change the name to Hull Tigers and Tan believes he can achieve success by changing the colour of the shirts to "lucky" red.

Along with a transfer policy that involves only signing players with '8' in their date of birth.

That last bit in the Hull piece is particularly telling about Allam, I think. He claims he always does what's best for the club but refused to work jointly with the council in expanding their stadium, insisting he wanted to buy the freehold. That would be fine if it were bought in the club's name, but it's not clear from the article if that's the case. If he personally wanted to buy it, I can easily see why that might set a few alarm bells ringing.

I know an ex-FD at Man Utd and he told me the average on-spend at Old Trafford. I can't remember the exact figure - but my jaw dropped. It was more than the average ticket price. They get a lot more tourists or course - but the queues in the Club shop on match day are spending more than pie money. But as you say - it may not be significant in the scheme of things.

Fluking it? We went 14 games unbeaten at one stage and were the 2nd highest scorers in the divison. You're still bitter over the Play Off defeat obviously

They won't be the same "accounts" though will they - eg aren't the costs of the stadium, training ground builds/depreciations and AITC excluded from the FFP requirements?

Along with other things. However in order to produce the FFP accounts you would first need to produce the statutory accounts.

QPR are exempt from the rules this year and Bolton incurred their debt years ago.
