IMO, and that is potentially not worth a lot, I can't see him being sold… I do agree in that moving form us to you, would be a step up but only slightly… You're in the same division and not really setting the world alight this season, however, (before you all jump on that) I do recognise that BHA as a club are bigger than AFCB and the potential to go further is greater, in the near future…

However, I can't for 1 minute see that Eddie Howe wants rid of him as he has become integral to how we ares set up… We don't have another striker that plays his role anywhere near as good, and he allows us to play 5 in the middle, which Howe seems to really like…

I can't see the owners wanting to sell him as he could be worth double, if not triple 1.1 million in the summer, if he keeps on scoring at his current rate… and, the long term goal is to stay in the Championship and progress… Something that selling your leading goal scorer does not help…

The only way we'd sell him is if Grabbs suddenly says 'he wants to go'… At that point you have no choice than to negotiate the best deal...

I really hope I'm wrong as I don't want him to go and if he does, you will have yourself one hell of a workhorse and great player, that offers so much more than just scoring…
It's irrelevant whether Howe wants to keep hold of him or not if £1.1 million is his 'release clause' and we bid that much for him.

I would be amazed if we ever start with 2 up front - cant see it happening

Didn't we play Ulloa and Barnes (not a good pairing IMHO) a few games ago?

From their reporter on Twitter:

When contacted by the Daily Echo a few minutes ago, Cherries reported that they had received no approaches for any of their players.

Doesn't mean we aren't after him, but a bit disappointed.

Just posted #bhafc interest in Lewis Grabban. Stress we run stories checked via our own sources.

Well, according to another poster he has 8 from open play. I hope that helps.
Yes, I saw that. 8 goals is a decent start. I really don't know much about him though, I missed the home game.

Time will tell, at least we're looking to bring players in.

Prepare to be amazed! CMS and Ulloa were up front together. Briefly.

That's the strike pairing I'm waiting for. That or someone else who would better complement Ulloa than Barnes.

Yeah I get that mate, but surley if thats what we would afford for him last season, plus upsons wages, plus the whatever personal terms we offered van Dijk.......why do we then this year claim to have very little to spend? Maybe its a bluff, I dont know

Didn't we turn our attention to Upson when it was apparent that van Dijk wouldn't be leaving in January?

If he's got a release clause, then it doesn't really matter what the owner and manager want does it? Obviously he may not want to leave, he likes it where he is.

Yeah thats true, but I would imagine the wages we pay for Upson are similar to what van Dijk would have picked up.....plus the £2.5million transfer fee

But this was under Gus, rather than Oscar. Can't see Oscar deviating from 4-5-1/4-3-3 although, as has been pointed out on the KLL thread, Oscar is not as rigid as Gus with his wide players staying wide. Also he seems to like to play left-footed players on the right, and vice-versa. I appreciate that he's not rigid about this, but this was something he did do at Maccabi Tel Aviv.

True. But he hasn't had the chance to play someone like CMS with Ulloa yet. I think they're perfect for each other.
