Derby Kelly- belly.
But Del-Boy in Only Fools says, New Delhi. Also remember Uncle Albert saying, "whats for Lilley & Skinner"- dinner.

Its not, its lemon dash =flash

Without getting into a whose more London debate, I think you are WRONG. I think Lemon=smart, lemon tart smart .

Harry dash=flash as in flash Harry?, it may kill you to admit it but I am right, everyone has heard of the phrase flash Harry(dash=flash).

The old Colombian marching powder is my guess.

I do like battlecruiser for boozer. And Frankie Vaughan for porn. An amusing modern variation on the latter is former Chelsea player Asier Del Horno.

I dont know where in London half of the people on here have come from or been invented from but Harry Dash is a slash and I would say that most are wrong in their assumption. As for quoting Minder I am talking of 10 - 15 years before Minder was ever thought of and spoken by East End dockers in Royal Albert Docks who were customers in my pub . Just to name drop Harry Redknapps dad was one H as he was known.

Just read the post above and they are all correct.

Used to work with someone who referred to a cup of tea as a "bumble" (bee). Made me chuckle.

What is lemon dash?

Lemon dash=slash, saying that though I do not think this is proper cockney rhyming slang but more recent. When my granddad or dad were going for a wee, they always said I am going for a Jimmy Riddle=Piddle.

No offence me old china but you are aving a bubble(I do not really talk like that) you are the one who claimed earlier that Kettle is not watch but is slang for bum which is not right at all. I may be younger than you but I still remember most of them from when I was younger, are you sure you have not been watching to much Jamie Oliver?

It was either a jimmy or harry depending on the company if ladies present it was Jimmy as piddle sounded better than slash.

Once again you are wrong, Harry=flash. Lemon may or may not equal slash but Harry certainly does not

I can assure you that Kettle is as in Kettle Drum as it was said to me many times by H when he knew I supported BHA. The dockers always asked each other when to go back to work by Usually saying what is the Harry (Lime) on your Hop (scotch)

I used to know a shop-keeper who got very excited when the Holy Ghost arrived each morning.
Think he must have thought he was going to get a premium bond win.
