Whats an infraction?

Husky was given an infraction by the mods for his post wishing harm on CMS. So what is an infraction and is it different to a ban?

Multiple infractions = ban for a length of time. It's like a warning. I think they disappear after a certain length of time.

It's like a yellow card. Some offences don't warrant a banning, but several of them add up to a red/ban

I got a 3 month one for talking bollocks with @Enrest. I thought I was being funny at the time but the next day after reading it all back I realised had been taken.
It runs out at the end of the month but to be honest I've not noticed any difference in my posting

I presume what you mean is, is there any way that others will know if someone has an infraction against them?

I would say that would not be fair as certain people may see it as their mission to incite someone who is known to be on their final warning, so to speak.

The Mods can not ban me or infraction me,why would they? well perhaps 1 such moderator may wish to be top of the pile of handing out yellows.

I think they do a **totally and truly wonderful job,they also make me laugh,are informative,well educated and are down right decent scholars,the lot of them,so much so i wish to join their ranks one day,if time allows** (Gold kisses arse impeccably here).

I aim to assist them where i can,however i appreciate the age old adage, "they can do what they like" but even allowing for this,i still can't be banned,unless i am.
