It looks like we now know why THE SCUM only signed Philips and Dobbie in the January window. :lolol:

From BBS , talking about the fee for Winifred : As per our interview with SP on HOL Radio, the exact figures are undisclosed and involved conditional payments and a sell - all of which when added up could arguably add up to around £20m (although he conceded this was unlikely).

The money from the transfer will be spread around transfers, the ground and the general club expenses/losses.

From my CPFC colleague at work they are losing 5-8mil a year so similar to us but they dont have the steady stream of money coming in.

Right here, right now

So they are losing 5-8m a year without a steady stream of money coming in and we are losing 8m WITH a steady stream of money coming in?!?!

This will all be denied as pub talk by CPFC2010  Looks like Judas is going to be given a contract extension so my prediction of him playing for Palace in League One is still on the cards.

Now I'm not saying Judas will not sign and instead follow his MO of running contracts down, but it would be hilarious if he declined or strung negotiations along...

Source?
I believe the figure is 5 million we recouped 5 million in add ons and signings before we bought anyone this year . which is not great is it ?but we are not spending millions on centre forwards are we?
My mate who's is BHA said you lot were losing 8-11 million a year and will do the same next year.
Easy this game.

That money isn't paid all at once , the incoming payments for Clyne and Moses are in staged settlements plus the fact SP stated the playing budget was being increased by £40k a week sticks another £2M on the wagebill. It is being bandied about that the initial payment for Winifred is only £5M and not the £8M that was hoped for.

I have to give it to you, you really are fantastic at making up your own rumours.

1. You have no idea how the money is coming in
2. The initial payment for Wilf is supposedly £10m. Where exactly is £5m/£8m 'being bandied about'?

Once again Grimsby, you post utter shite because there aren't enough facts to support your agenda :lolol:

We lost £3m last year according to CPFC2010.

As for how much of the Zaha cash will be spent on the playing staff... A significant amount. Obviously we can't speculate as to exactly how much (and anyone that says they can is a liar and a fool) will be spent but Steve Parish said most of the money will be spent in the Summer when we can get good value for money. In January people wanted to charge absolutely mental fees and it wasn't a buyers market.

Dobbie and Phillips look to be great signings, btw. Just a shame that we have to wait until July 1st for Dobbie to become permanent.

Hang on a minute you can't change the record that quickly you have been on here all season saying this was the year in your cycle you 'go for it' and that there would be a significant amount of business done in January to cement your promotion push. In fact I am sure it was you trotting out names like Adomah, Ebanks Blake and DJ Campbell.

So if the money is there and it is your best chance of promotion in your 'cycle' then why has your transfer activity consisted of a 40 year old striker (which is ironic considering the taunts of our squads age from your lot) and a player who has not featured in the last 4 brighton match day squads.

Hardly the sign of a club 'going for it' is it??

As it happens, under the terms of the loan, Dobbie remains a Brighton player. We have no obligation to sell him to you in the summer.

1. Tell me a club who pays all the cash up front on a transfer deal , it is established custom and practice for the buying and selling clubs to agree on staged payments and add-ons.
2. The £5M to £8M figures are being discussed on Palace messageboards. If the initial payment for Winifred is £10M can you actually provide any proof of this amount as I believe Parish has said all the numbers are undisclosed.
3. Still waiting for an apology where you called me a liar on the post I made about Albert Adomah wanting to play for a BIG CLUB and not THE SCUM.
