The "blame" lies with our inability to put away pens and sitters. We are always good at giving away stupid goals late on.

Is the correct answer. We should have been comfortably 3 or 4 up by the time they scored and then it woulkdn't have mattered.

Very galling that Bolton (who were truly woeful got a point) and referee decided to see what was going to happen rather than blow whistle when time was up.

I blame Kuszczak's punt forward which made its way to the other goalkeeper via the header. Should have concentrated on keeping possession.

Are you serious, after Kuszack Bruno is the best player we have

Yes I am. He's great on the ball but I think he's been poor defensively of late and today was no different. Everyone was worried about Painter but they had far more joy down our right than our left. It's all very well be a flairy full back but you can't give away the ball in bad areas, concede too much space and neglect your defensive duties. I'll watch it again tonight but he seemed to be completely missing for the goal and it wasn't he only time in the second half.

Gus f*** up... Should of kept 4-4-2 , never should go defensive may be if 2-0 up..

Just swapped dobbie for Barnes and played same game, soon as we went defensive they pushed up and had more chances then ever!

I dont know but I can only guess that Gus told them to sit deep and defend, as we dominated for 85 minutes, then just kept inviting pressure. Some players didn't appear to be allowed out of our half for the last 10 mins.

Gus but not for the Barnes situation, just for negative substitutions when we were bossing the game. Felt he brought on Calderon just to give him game time to keep him happy. Painter was doing ok.Crofts and Hammond CANNOT play together they run into the same space.

Gus

Brings on a defensive midfielder, who is not up to speed with the play, with fifteen minutes to go, in place of a striker, which puts the whole team on the back foot, and brings the majority of the play forty yards closer to our goal

Exactly this! We were coping with everything that they attacking us with, and the changes seem to make our play very disjointed for the last 15 minutes. Although the game should have been in our pockets before the substitutions were made!

Nice to see Greer not getting set on.

It was a hell of a challenge late in the first half when Painter got done all ends up, and the fella crossed to the edge of the penalty area.

are we just talking about the goal? ...needlessly got offside in the far corner (north west) when we could have played out time over there...ball broke...bruno was beaten for pace (poor sod works the line all game)...as he was trying to cover he beckoned for help but the defence just sat back..Bridcutt being nearest game ..but they did what we failed to do for majority of game ..score..from about there only good opening
