Having been to Anfield it was a massive disappointment of a stadium, very little atmosphere and facilities were woeful.

I'm not sure if I can say this but St Mary's is on my list

Tricky one this because, and i don't mean to get romantic, but i will........
One of my favourite 'grounds' is a little park ground in Hertforshire. My grandparents used to live up there and my grandad used to take me to watch games there. Then when i was expelled from my school in Brighton i spent the last 2 months of my A Level years at a college up there and used to sit on the terraces at lunch time eating my sarnies and smoking fags. Its Clarence Park in St Albans (coincidently CMS used to play for them)

As Kylies Stunt Arse says, Anfield is a massive disappointment dumped in a shithole. Amazing to think there are tourists who probably go to Liverpool and consider Anfield a "must do". It's got to be up there with the Mannequin Piss in Brussels and Little Mermaid in Copenhagen as most underwhelming site on a city's checklist.

And I'd sympathise with your analysis of St Mary's. Great location for a new ground and the perfect size considering it has rarely seen less than 20k inside for a league game.

I also hated Anfield. I couldn't even sit down at half time because there LITERALLY (not even in the Jamie Redknapp use of the word) was not enough legroom. I reckon we could fit another 5000 in at the Amex if we took a leaf out of Liverpool's book...

Yours?

Old Truffle is a bag of ole shite. Looks crap from the outside with all the bits tacked onto it, and some of those corner seats must enjoy 'very oblique pitch views' indeed.

I was overseas for the Liverpool game so unfortunately missed it. Surely the leg room can't be as restrictive as the away end at Fratton Park. Leyton Orient is another that springs to mind as well

I didn't even try sitting at Orient and I was in the front row at Fratton Park. West Ham was another place with zero leg room.
