So I can understand Noone as good business and he probably isnt going to offer anymore than he already has....but if CMS is going to be sold, after we have adapted our play and given him time....I do hope Gus has a big signing or two Orlandi
Boyd
Murray

...all wouldn't count in my eyes

Orlandi is almost a done deal.

Do you think Gus has total control here? Or do you think our Chairman, and Head of Football Operations might also be involved ?

Orlandi would be a great signing , the other two not so much

Any chance of getting some in, before accepting bids for those going out?

And I agree, Boyd and Murray would be very underwhelming.

Completely disagree.

With Noone going for £1.5m we assume, if we get near what we paid for CMS, even if nothing else happens, that is very good financials for the club.

So how good is this Spanish 28year old winger...Orlandi...
Cos I don't know and by not hearing much of him when Swansea won promotion from this league...I'm guessing he's not gona set the world alight

Yeah it is good business if your a average club with a couple of good players....we're meant to be pushing on for a promotion spot...financial gain should be at the end of the year regarding our position

Orlandi was rumoured before the Noone bid was announced in Wales, so it seems we already had that iron in the fire.

We HAVE NOT accepted any bids for CMS yet, and if we do it will be on our terms.

Why do you think CMS will be sold? I don't understand all this panic yes he has to juggle a bit as we are not a bottomless pit of cash but generally him and the rest of the team are pretty good at seeking out bargains to the benefit of the team. His statement said they were involved in incoming and outgoing transfers - that could mean anything including Norwich making an official offer and us telling them to poke their offer, it doesnt mean we are going to sell that number of players.

These are great times the level of speculation has risen greatly over the last couple of years we should be enjoying it.

Just because we've allegedly had an offer for CMS, doesn't mean he'll be sold. I'm a little sceptical about this one anyway, as I can't see a prem team wanting a pretty unproven goalscorer in the ch'ship - but regardless of that, if he were to go, it would only to be able to finance someone better.

I would be very surprised if they weren't involved. But equally knowing Gus as we do, if it was a case of going behind his back, or just straight overruling him, I can't imagine he'd be staying around very long.

Hmmm

Ins
Kooooshack
Bruno
Bridge
Crofts
Vicente (extended contract)
Orlandi (probably)

Outs
Noone
Elphick
Hall (out of contract anyway)
Navarro
Sparrow (possibly)
Vincelot (possibly)

It's really not though, is it? Gus will bring in quality, on a par with those that have have recruited since last season, in the positions we need.

Conclusion: Chill the feck out!

Oh do get a grip on yourself man.

Kuszczak, Bruno, Bridge, Crofts in, and Vicente retained.
Elphick, Navarro, and now £1m for Noone going out.

I'd say the transfer window has seen us upgrade. Not sure many of us went into August with Noone being part of our starting XI. He's behind Buckley and KLL for me, so £1m for a third choice winger, when we very rarely start with 2, is pretty good business.

Bring in Orlandi, and that's another piece of really good business, bringing in a player who was a key part of a promotion side in this division. that's exactly what we should be doing.

Top work Gus, keep it up!

Utter, utter, utter bollocks.

Am VERY happy with our business this summer.

IN - Bridge, Bruno, Crofts, Kuszczak, Orlandi (likely)
OUT - Noone, Navarro, Elphick

The "ins" are FAR stronger than the "outs". Very good work Gus, keep it up.

Poyet has only brought players in that have succeeded at this level or higher this summer and people are still questioning him? Incredible.

The policy is clear. Only quality players in whilst shedding any player that is not seen as up to it or does not fit in.

The bid has been made, by a prem team so it will defiantly meet our evaluation. If we haven't been able to find a striker in the last two months...much chance in the next two days?

Il be very disappointed if we let CMS go and Noone and bring in a 28 year old winger who can't even get a cup match at Swansea
