Would love to say I'll be singing myself to death tomorrow, but after just coming back from a Stiff Little Fingers gig and singing like a complete maniac from start to finish I fear I may not have a voice to sing with!

Got a horrible feeling we will be 8th after today and with the quality of teams playing in the next few rounds will struggle to get back into play off contention, that is when we will all rue the dropped points from last minute equalisers etc.................................I could be wrong though.

Must get at least a point today - most of the other contenders have easy fixtures, leeds and leicester could still be in the picture tonight.

Bates their captain is out injured and Emnes is 50/50.

We have Buckley back and a fit Vicente.

We win.

Tactics wise I would suggest the following.......

You've got to hold and give, But do it at the right time,
You can be slow or fast, But you must get to the line,
They’ll always hit you and hurt you,
Defend and attack,
Theres only one way to beat them,
Get round the back.

I think that should work.

I honestly think we can beat anyone at home and despite pundits saying it will be tight i am going for 2-0 Albion

Middlesborough fans are called 'smoggies' by NUFC . Is this term used outside the north east?
I saw Spurs at Boro in '89. When Gascoigne came up for a corner, he was met with a barrage of mars bars. He picked one up and started juggling it on his foot.
That's the 1st in an occasional series of surreal footballing moments in my life.

I've run some some stochastic analyses on my calculator and the results show it will be Albion 2 Smoggies 1.

How do you know the final score will be 2-0? Probabilistic analysis or did your god (who determines everything that happens) tell you it would be? Even if it is 2-0, how can you prove that the outcome wasn't the result of chance?

Well some people go on gut feeling but I have been studying statistics and dvd's of both sides footage for over a week. The analysis still supported a 2-0 win, however not convinced this would be enough to justify my opinion to Internet cretins I then consulted not one but 3 higher beings who (via the medium of prayer) all confirmed the result would stand.

Might be a game of patience today as the bus will be parked for sure, I can see a late winner resolving this

This is just a massive game for us ... win and we have one foot in the play offs ... lose and our task becomes huge. A draw won't be catastrophic but will need us to do something special in one of West Sham/Reading games.

I'm optimistic of a win and with three tough games following the next "must win" will come against Watford

Not sure about that ... their next 2 are against Cardiff and Hull and they simply can't afford to keep drawing. I've got a feeling they might get on the front foot ... I'm looking forward to one of those games that Gus doesn't like :)
