I know I may be opening a can of worms here but like to think I am a fair Man and we are fair supporters.

I am by far a Portsmouth fan and the behaviour of their fans was to be expected walking up to the ground to be greeted by their fans at the station shouting " Aids scum " to all and sundry but Mr Portsmouth is a colorful character and good for football imo.

When he came into the South Stand and starting the bell ringing he was after a while manhandled out of the stand which almost caused a serious ruck. All for no reason as far as I could see. He just rang his bell, as he does at every ground he goes to.

Why " Mr Rambo " in the sunglasses , the one who seems to have an anger management issue thought it was necessary to round his troups up and go and evict him from the stand I do not know.

It was over aggressive, over zealous and uncalled for imo. Whilst this was going on it almost caused a serious incident. To be fair to Westwood he constantly tried to diffuse the situation telling the Portsmouth fans to calm down when they were close to kicking off.

I would think it a sad day at the Amex of we cannot accept an eccentric character such as Westwood and treated them as shoddily as he appeared to have been treated today.

The stewards need to show some common sense. Alas that appears to be beyond the remit of " Mr Rambo ".

Errrrrrr, I don't think that had anything to do with Mr Westwood.

No I don't, but from a Pompey messageboard...

"The 'trouble' was because the police ejected west wood for homophobic abuse. The stewards told us any more chanting and we would be thrown out, as they were marching out about 10 blokes pushed the police back to stop westwood being ejected, more stewards and police joined in then more fans!! One of our lot was taken out and some brighton fans in the family section for enticing the pompey fans were thrown out!!!"

Westwood was banned from South Coast arch-rivals Southampton's St Mary's Stadium for urinating on seats in the away end and being thrown out of a derby match in 2003 for persistently refusing to sit down when ordered to by stewards.

1. Could they?
2. Was it Westwood who threw the flare? He must have some arm looking at where it was and where they seemed to be kicking him out from

Cheshire Cat

The most curious thing..
appalling spelling again - can we get an aothomatick spill cucker instilled?

I thought you had terminated your account with extreme prejudice....

However, you may have a point if Mr Westwood was thrown out for no good reason other than he possesses a very annoying bell (is he the one with the tatoos and the strange hair?)

If he was ejected for homophobic abuse, then I am all in favour - regardless of the bell.

PS I wasn't there so I have no idea what I am talking about.

If your going to dress like a christmas tree X100 your going to catch the eye of plod, the stewards etc and therefor should be on your best behaviour.

He is either an easy target/scapegoat or a complete idiot.
