Are the restricted view seats the ones that will be left for those getting to the ground with 10 minutes to go before kick off ?

But at Smelhurst you were able to see the whole pitch (yeah £30 was a lot for that though). That and Palace is a lot closer and cheaper to get to than Liverpool, not sure how many people will want to pay £70 on a train then not have a good view of the game.

Wait, what? I couldn't two of the corners, and I'm not exactly short! And there was a lovely post right in the way of the centre circle too.
The price for Liverpool really puts into perspective the amount Palarse charged us!

Actually seeing the worst reduced view is just 1 row at the back so it isnt as bad (just checked that out for myself) so £24 isnt bad really. I do agree with you on everything else though, 2 5 hour coach journeys will be testing and bordering on torturous

2.5 hours on the coach i think it will be about 7 hours each way

I hope that by hook or by crook that we do sell 6000.

I spoke to several fans at the Leicester game & the attitude seemed to be that they would give it a miss & watch it on tv.
I hope that is not the case & we sell out plus not forgetting that we are unbeaten in our last 2 matches at anfield.
Also I'm sure this has been mentioned by somebody else but the last 2 years we have been to anfield we also reached wembley in those seasons.1983 cup final 1991 playoff final

Incorrect, you are forgetting the 4-0 defeat in the League Cup in 1985.

Seem to be some confusion about these slightly cheaper tickets - if you look at the ticket price plan on LFC's site, i'm pretty sure it shows that the central blocks of our allocation are £30, and then the blocks to the sides are the reduced price ones. Nothing to do with a restricted view. I would imagine the handful of restricted view seats are marked as such on the ticket.

At least, i think that's correct. For anybody worrying about this, give the ticket office a ring.

I would be absolutely astonished if they sold out. It wouldn't have been an issue if the game had been 3pm on the Saturday, but I really cannot see us selling 6000 tickets when it is such a nightmare getting there and getting home again. I cant imagine too many kids are going to go because of the kick off time, so that will reduce the number sold significantly.

I reckon 4,000-4,500 ish.

Well if 3,000 have gone and it hasnt dropped below the 1,000 point limit, its looking more and more likely it actually could do

I'd be very surprised. You have to remember that those around the 1000 point mark are people who haven't been to any away games at all, and generally don't go to them. Most of these people wont go. But then they'll probably be a spike in sales when it drops down to 50 points are so and you get the non STH who go to lots of away games.

At least 4k are going to get sold and I wouldnt be that suprised if it is more than 5k. I think people are underestimating the fact that it is the first time we have played a top 6 side in the FA cup for YEARS!

Game should finish about 6.15.

Cheapest fare now beoing quoted £92.50

So you can get back on the train then. The 19.48 will get you back to Sussex that night.

(I know I'm being difficult by the way, £92.50 is ridiculous)

I really don't understand all this negative stuff, it's our cup final just get off your backside and book a ticket for what will be a top day.

Yes, yes, it's going to be a pain getting back but no pain no gain!

Still limited coach seats avaliable for £37 if you dont want to be ripped off by the train. About a total of 10 hours by coach should be worth seeing us at Anfield....hopefully we can win too :D
