According to tonights argus and I quote

A spokesman for the Albion said sales were in line with expectations and predicted all 6000 tickets available would be sold by the time of the match.

WHAT DO WE THINK ?

I think sales are in line with expectations and I predict all 6000 tickets available will be sold by the time of the match.

I'd be very surprised if we sold all 6k.

*preparingtobeverysurprised*

I hope that by hook or by crook that we do sell 6000.

I spoke to several fans at the Leicester game & the attitude seemed to be that they would give it a miss & watch it on tv.
I hope that is not the case & we sell out plus not forgetting that we are unbeaten in our last 2 matches at anfield.
Also I'm sure this has been mentioned by somebody else but the last 2 years we have been to anfield we also reached wembley in those seasons.1983 cup final 1991 playoff final

It was posted in the other topic that 2,500 have gone, so nearly half in 4 days. All seats wont go as people wont take the restricted view seats. Im worried i wont be going now as it will be dropping to 1,000 points shortly and a lot more will sell, not worth paying out loads for a crap seat either.

I was told by the ticket staff yesterday afternoon that they had at that time sold 3000, the majority online.

The fact that the ticket prices have been reduced for this fixture & the so called restricted view seats are deemed acceptable for premier league games I don't see your point.

I paid £32 to stand at smelhurst last week surely £24 to sit at anfield next week is acceptable.

But at Smelhurst you were able to see the whole pitch (yeah £30 was a lot for that though). That and Palace is a lot closer and cheaper to get to than Liverpool, not sure how many people will want to pay £70 on a train then not have a good view of the game.

It's £93 on the train that's why i'm going by coach which is against my nature as I like the freedom of the train.
I'm sure there may be some restricted view tickets but this is anfield not aldershot. If these so called restricted view seats are good enough to sell at top whack in the premier league surely they are good enough for us at reduced rate.
How would you feel if you didn't go because of the restricted view & we won which is not impossible.

Come on this is Brighton vs Liverpool at anfield it dosent happen very often

Actually seeing the worst reduced view is just 1 row at the back so it isnt as bad (just checked that out for myself) so £24 isnt bad really. I do agree with you on everything else though, 2 5 hour coach journeys will be testing and bordering on torturous
