At the end of the day you lot didn't compare to a superior support and, on the day, a superior team.

at the end of the day you didnt get your own supporters sarcasm. The good news is though that you fulfilled the Palace fan stereotype beautifully for us which i thank you and you win the dopey twat award well done.

I really feel for you Sir Nigel of Eagleshire.

Brighton factually.....
Were Albion fans not placed in the middle of a empty stand (like we could find an empty stand at the Amex !!) so that our fans could not be heard, what were the Palarse scared we would out sing you at home. It also might explain why both sets of fans could not hear each other. either way a massive cock up by palarse spoling the atmos

In fairness I thought the Palace in the AW weren't too bad, especially on the St Pauli song, that f***ing drum was extremely irritating though and I couldn't hear the Holmesdale at all.

What Palace should be worried about is that only 11,000 of their fans came out to support in their big derby game, that was an embarrassment.

As for us, not the loudest we've been I think but the singing was constant, varied and at times pretty bloody funny I thought the atmosphere was pretty decent all night.

The display was tinpot and shit, but the Eagle before the game was pretty cool.

All in all not a bad night, and I'm glad we finished the stronger of the two teams with Palace wishing the final whistle would arrive asap.

This isnt meant as an insult or tit for tat but I was in X block, closest to you in the AW, You were not loud, I was actually disappointed, fair play with the allocation you arent going to get all your regular singers but just in response to us being utter wanck as you so pleasantly put it.

And before you say anything im sure you didnt hear us once, not a peep, just that drum etc etc

When you only have around 15k of your own supporters turn up and we are only allocated 2,700 tickets, I don't think you can blame us for either our perceived atmosphere or your own extremely pathetic support. 25k capacity stadium? Your board would rather chew off their noses to spite their face, we could have sold 5k of tickets, not the shite we were given.

I think part of the issue is that it is only the older Palace fans who consider this to be the big derby game.

You lot want to get your stories straight - you got some barefaced liars on here trying to bluff their way along with "we couldn't hear you" and people on BBS telling the truth that you were completely outsung - non stop and loud from the Albion last night - put you to shame.

We know which lot of supporters would be happier tonight. 1-1 is a great result away from home @ Palace. That's the Derby done for this season. We can now turn our minds to the league properly and at least this time we are not down the bottom of the league fighting for our life like the last times we have been in this league. Its brilliant all round.

Looking backwards is all you've got because your season is over mate. 4 points off us is as good as it gets for you. Out of both cups, nothing left to play for, shit club with no future. Face it - your best days are long behind you.

Not looking for a fight but it's all about perspective, no?

Brighton getting great crowds because they're punching above their perceived weight in the Championship.

Palace getting mediocre crowds because they're punching below (or at) their perceived weight in the same division.

Our fairweathers see the Prem as a big deal, yours see Prem and Champ the same way. Not saying its right, just how it is.

To judge on an even keel we'd both have to be in the same league for 4/5 years to stabilise the expectations of the fanbase.

*(And 4 points out of 6 each time round certainly make me feel better about that.) :)

Fair play too you...you seem to like the number 4...oops! LOOK 4 PLACES ABOVE YOU.....00PS LOOK AT 4 POINTS MORE THAN YOU!!

They use a drum, hahahahahahahHahahaha brilliant! I thought tin pot clubs like Leicester use them to create an atmosphere because none of their supporters can.....
