Tricky one this. Apart from Millwall, its the one trip where I think twice. My heart says wear the stripes , my head (based on so many previous trips up there) says it might be sensible not to. Might fudge it by wearing a jacket I can zip up.

Whats the consensus on this ?. Just to be clear, it doesnt make you a coward if you choose not to nor does it make you a hard case if you do.

I'm going dressed like this, so as to fit right in with the locals and maintain a low profile.

They`ll only pick on individuals and young lads when they are in big groups. They`re like that.

Wear your colours. I always do, and whilst I might be being a bit short sighted, I don't see why it should be a problem. I've had comments from opposing fans at away games, but does it matter? I don't feel any sense of shame in wearing a Brighton shirt, especially when walking through a town/care in the community hub, of a team we're playing against that day.

I'll be wearing mine, but again will be mighty cold tomorrow so will have a jacket over my shirt anyway.

Anyone over 13 years old that wears a football shirt when not playing football really does need to look at themselves. We are Brighton, not a club like poxy Newcastle whose fans wear a nylon bar code shirt whist engaging in sad, over the top hero worship.

Wearing you clubs colours at any age is perfectly fine, your showing what club you support and how happy and proud you are of your club, you dont want to spend £40 on it, and your just trying to convince yourself your doing the right thing.
Wear your colours with pride.
