Ipod touch problem.help needed

I have just changed my o2 router to a newer model. I am having a problem configuring WI-FI to my ipod touch.I choose the O2 network,enter the password,then it tells me it is the incorrect password. The password is the one on the underside of the router. I have tried upper and lower case . Should I be doing something in the settings. Help please

I know it sounds silly, but I struggled with mine before I realised a zero was an O letter, or a one was a capital I, just for example.

What I did in the end, was just configure the thing and change the default to my own.

Switch it off. Then switch it back on again.
