Being topical, how about flame grilling rather than oven baked ?

To be fair, each pie does come with sachets of salt and pepper (hidden under the paper under the pie), but yeah, a touch more seasoning would go down a treat. Still yum, though

The pies at the Fans Forum did lack seasoning but the Spurs and Donny pies were fine in my opinion.

I'd be happy with getting a steak one and not chicken when I ask for a steak one.....

OMFG, will there be enough pies for tomorrows game???????

We made 6000 as that's what was asked by the club. Whether this will be enough is anyones guess. Depends on the attendance I guess.

Edit: What I should also add is that they asked for the same amount of Steak as Chicken. Maybe the Chicken is becoming more popular

If I hadn't been a little disappointed by my under seasoned and under gravied steak pie I wouldn't have eaten 2 chicken ones. Its the chicken pies fault for making the steak one look bad. :D

That's what I love about NSC - understandably serious discussions about the riots and then slap bang in the middle, a poll about pepper on the steak and ale pies!

Think the problem we could face is more gravy could lead to the base of the pie not holding up

I may have had an oddly dry one, seemed like there was plenty of tolerance left in that pastry to safely pick up a 'wetter' pie.
