I wear my Brighton shirt to Brighton matches and would urge all supporters to do the same.

As much as i love Brighton, I would still never wear a football shirt. Just think Footy shirts are for kids. When i see fully grown adults in 1 it makes me cringe. Sorry if i have offended anyone, only my opinion

People can do what they want. I think footy shirts are suitable for anyone at a game! Personally wouldn't wear one around town but at a game for sure! But like already said if someone wasn't wearing one that's there choice and that's fair enough.

f*** me, you must have cringed yourself half to death on Saturday then, and you'll be struggling next week too. I understand people having an opinion on this, I understand people not wanting to wear replica shirts for any number of reasons, but why would anyone feel uncomfortable about it, or 'cringe' about it?

One of those things that look alright on grown men going to and coming back from football. Any other occasion = tool

If grown adults didnt buy replica tops the club would lose a big chunk of a lucrative revenue stream. Kids can't afford multiple tops like adults can and do purchase.

Im not saying that adults should not wear them. I know the revenue that the shirts bring in makes a lot of money. I just wouldn't wear 1

Id rather wear my Brighton shirt and not give a shit what anyone thinks than worry what an overweight 40 year old cringing at me with an xxxl Il-fitted dunlop jumper on thinks i look like in my Brighton shirt

Main issue was away games and all the trouble surrounding wearing a BHAFC shirt, stopped for them and since not bothered at home

Definitely, their is a time and a place for football shirts! I just can't understand why people are against others wearing your team colours to a game?! Looks good IMO and would look really good if everyone was in Blue and White!

Fill up the Amex with Blue & White. The only time I wear my shirt is at the game, nothing wrong with that IMO. Would be nice though if those not wearing a shirt could wear something blue and white!

I once got punched at an away game, and the policeman who arrested the bloke said that BECAUSE I was wearing a shirt, he could basically write off any idea that I was a hooligan looking for a bit of trouble myself, as the bloke who hit me claimed. Conversely, he might never have hit me if I wasn't wearing it. Who knows.
