There has to be huge potential for these screens if only some tech genius can be found / trained to get the most out of them
Having Teams (particularly Away) and Squad numbers displayed at least for first five minutes of each half would be a bonus. Understand there are sponsorship and advertising priorities but would like to familiarise with those playing.

the people who operate the software etc for the screen are getting to grips with it, but it just made me chuckle that some settings are left on the default

Whatever else, no-one can dispute the clarity of those screens - they are fabulous.

I'm sure Insider indicated that we might have that at some point (when asked if we would have skysports-esque player 'walkups' on the big screens!).

It dies seem to be a complete waste at the moment. I understood it was early days for the SSC but I would have thought they'd have sorted by now. All very odd. I wonder whether it's the IT geeks again who "fixed" Paul Samrahs mike?!!

Noticeable improvement since the SSC game, with more info etc.
We've never even had a SCORE BOARD let alone stonking great HD screens with full Sky Sports quality animated graphics, captions, substitutions, live action, slow-mo replays etc. Give them a chance to play with the setup and learn the software.

It has been suggested to me that the software package itself isn't that hot. "If they want it to show immediate replays of a goal, it'll never work properly" was the judgement. The first effort, when Barnes scored, certainly bears that out.
