This whole charade is totally unnecessary. If Brighton gave FCUM what they gave Woking or what they by rights are entitled too then all this antagonism wouldn't have been created.

Brighton have got a lot to answer for if there is trouble on the 27th. By hook or crook there will be scores of FC in the home ends myself included. From reading these pages it seems to be the general consensus that it wont be a sell out so why not just give them FC the extra tickets?

To be honest home fans seem to struggle to buy tickets in the home end.

The only people who will have to answer for trouble are the people who cause the trouble.

I've managed to get banned from their forum. Didn't swear once, was not at all agressive and wished them good luck in the end.

Oh well.

Time to ban all the FCUM newbies, and close down the new registration function for the next 10 days or so?

No because we're grown up enough to allow people to air opposing views on NSC. (sometimes)

So ignoring the fact that this is done on police advice, you reckon there will be trouble if you have 845 tickets, but not if you have 1,200?

What a classy outfit. I think you've answered your own point.

There's no way there'll be loads of FCUM fans in the home end. The online ticketing system is a nightmare!

There will only be FCUM fans in the home ends if they buy them from people already on the database who are not going. Knowing all the whingers at Withdean they will instantly grass up non Brighton fans to the yellow jacketed stormtroopers.

Genuine question.....why didn't your fans try to buy the club off the people who f***ed your club over..??

Archer/Stanley bought club for peanuts (pounds) due to tax debt, put in loans, assest stripped the club, banned everyone who questioned their motives, sacked accounts trying to highlight the wrong doing and sold ur ground for millions and then just sat on the shares, not caring.

Eventually a new board including fans (when we were homeless/penniless) bought him out for 1-2 million pounds.

He is worth a lot of money and not a very nice man, do not let him near your club, he makes Glazier look like an angel.

Have they brought tickets for our games before then? Only tickets in the home end are on sale to people already on the club database. :dunce:
Actually, I've spent a bit of time on their forums this morning having a bit of lively, but good natured, debate. Quite a few are registering and buying tickets for Bristol Rovers (that they either wont use, or plan to sell on the NSC ticket exchange) so that they'll be on the database and able to buy seats for the FCUM game...

You FCUtd fans are making complete fools of yourselves, to talk about trouble at Withdean given that despite the fact you'll be the smallest club to ever play there in a competitive match and in fact having had visits from several clubs with a bad reputation there has never been any problems since we moved their we are getting all this aggression. Perhaps we should just not let you have any tickets given your pathetic attitude. Whilst we appreciate you have delusions of grandeur you should remember that you are still a very much a non league club that is clearly punching above it's weight.

Seems there were some problems when you played Rochdale however as your team appears on our radar even less than we do on Man Utd's we have no idea what the problems were but clearly they were enough to persuade the powers than be that there should be a restriction on how many seats you got allocated. Given that the number is double your normal home gate what is your problem ?

But there were only 40 tickets available at the start of the day anyway.

Last I saw their was only about 20 tickets left yesterday seems a lot to spend £27 on ticket for the Gas men (and not go) to watch FCUM from comedy block, if they are season tickets holders or members of FCUM they should get first digs at cup tickets according to their club site and I imagine they will all get tickets. Its only the glory hunters who will miss out.

Hopefully if we get through we will draw a real team and won't have to put up with a lot of grumpy non leaguers who have to register here because there's no one to talk to on their own forum.

Sad to say the FCUM are beginning to look like utter tools on this thread now. i admire the fact they got off their arses and formed a club of their own that reflects their values. However at the Albion the fans took a stand and saved their club with a fight that lasted for over a decade, any comparisons are just risible.

And whilst I understand them being miffed about missing out on the 15% it's only a couple of hundred seats at a shit ground it's hardly worth all this screaming and shouting, it's getting a tad tedious. FCUM are not going to bring thousands of their own supporters, because they don't have them. They may have however drag out some MUFC fans, who they really should have no time for as they represent everything that FUMC is meant to stand against, and if they miss out on a ticket who f**king cares? Not me for one.

Is this how your attitude going around the other non-league clubs ? Is it still 1974 in Manchester ?

Very clever clipping my full quote. No one wants to see any trouble but unfortunately that doesn't mean to say that there wont be. All it takes is a last minute goal and suddenly the most mild mannered person can turn into '1974'.
