You might be right on this but I'm having trouble getting my head round the numbers. The middle section consists of 10 rows, each with about 200 seats in. That means according to you that there would be at least 2000 corporate/1901 in the middle tier alone. If you add in the lower tier numbers your suggesting that would take it up to at least 3000 whereas I understood that there were only just over 2000 in total.

There are a total of 2,075 1901 seats in the West Stand, plus 140 seats in front of the Executive boxes. Dunno where you're getting 3,000 from though. I dunno how many of the 1901 seats are in the central sections of the lower west, but its obviously not going to be anywhere near another thousand.

[edit]

Unless, just thinking, maybe NONE of the 2,075 1901 Club seats are in that lower-west middle section. Perhaps those are just being reserved for VIP's outside of the Corporates ? Visiting managers, scouts, "celebs" or whatever. Either way, those seats are not on general sale for the cattle class.

Oh really? I was thinking bottom tier west but as high asyou could go, so back row.

Do we have any pictures of top tier view?

3 pics taken by NJ on 6 Sept, right at the back of the top tier, I stitched them together.

I know this information is elsewhere but I can't find it. Does anyone know when the season tickets go on sale roughly. I know STHs get first dibs (in order of suffering) and then their is some other heirarchy. Could someone list the approximate release dates please.

Nobody knows, NONE of the information has been released yet.

I gather all the details on prices, dates they go on sale, payment methods etc etc will be released around the first week of November. We will not know until then.

There's a new batch of 1901 seats in the East Stand.

northwest end - or left as you look from west stand - other end of west is low tolerance i think

Just to clarify this is wrong. The family section will be the North half of the East Stand.

But probably not the middle sections if there are going to be 1901 packages in the East as well ?

First I have heard of it. Can't see it happening. How are they going to get to the 1901 club bars at half time? Would be a strange way to do it.

My understanding was it was literally going to be split in half, with the North East being the family section, the South East being general.

I don't see how, when all the hospitality suites are in the West.
Where did you hear this ?

Spoke to the 1901 Club today and they mentioned it. They mentioned it does not come with parking, and I did not ask about the hospitality.

I spoke to the 1901 club today and they confirmed that they are looking into around 400 additional 1901 club seats in the East Stand. The reason people haven't heard about it is that they haven't officially announced this yet. The final seats in the West Stand sold out this week. Sounds like they have simply underestimated the demand for these seats.

Presumably they would open an additional 1901 club bar/restaurant in the East Stand to cater for these additional members rather than make everyone walk round to the West Stand. They aren't going to have much appeal otherwise.

That will be incredible if that is the case for the following reasons:

1) Current STH's will not be able to get a near half way line ticket unless they go top tier in the North Stand.
2) People buying up tickets for the wings in the 1901 Club may be a little pissed off that they have not been offered this option
3) Corporates will be sat next to kids
4) Can they get another another bar in the East Stand which isn't already there or will it be in place of something else.

I'm bloody glad I sorted out my 1901 seat out yonks ago, as the season ticket release and choice of seats for exisiting season ticket holders is going to be a complete bun fight with more limited chocies than people will have wanted, especially if as rumour is to be believed each STH can buy three additional seats. Not good if you're not in the first wave.

Hmmm number 2 is very good point. Maybe they should give existing members an opportunity to switch before offering these for general sale.
