I remember Kid A being released, as I was seeing Radiohead that day in concert in Warrington (no idea why they were playing there). I ran out to buy the album at lunchtime, stuck it in the car stereo, and couldn't believe what a load of utter shite it sounded. I was so shocked I played the whole album again, and it only reinforced my original opinion.

It took many years for me to realise just what an amazing album it is.

I have friends that are fanatical about Radiohead and they always say Kid A is their favourite album. I'm sure I'd get into it as well, I'm just not sure I can be bothered.
