Was thinking about going to Burgess Hill match on Saturday but have just seen they are charging £12 to get in on the day or £8 in advance. Would seesm as if Burgess Hill are taking the p1ss a bit with those prices considering its nornally a fiver to get in. :annoyed:

Who can blame them, they will make enough money to keep them ticking over for a good chunk of the season, if you don't agree vote with your feet.

£12 for a friendly is nonce sense unless that friendly is the world all stars against the inter-galactic dream team, i'd probably pay more than £12 for that

but burgess hill vs brighton (probably pretty much a reserve team)? nein danke!

I may go to Gemini instead, listen to the free music and buy 3 pints for that price, watch the girls not wearing much and the boys in trilbys, hoopy tops and rolled up jeans

£8 is pretty reasonable to me.

To be fair, you make a pretty good case.

£8 is not to bad bad but the jump to £12 if you turn up on the day is quite hike in price. If I take my two lads it is going to cost £22 which I think is pricey for the first friendly of the season in what at the end of the day is a glorified playing field.
Not for me I don't think.

It's normally £8 to get in for league games, - £6 with an annual membership card which this season is costing a tenner but includes a ticket for the Brighton friendly.

Totally agree, I said on another thread it's a piss take. I also find selling advance tickets for a friendley like this a piss take as well, are people really supposed to waste their lives driving to leylands park this week to pick up a ticket

Hopefully people will vote with their feet.

You can get them from the club shop in Queens Road as well.

Really? I might get me one of them as I'm only round the corner.

oh, you know, like klingons and shit

miscellaneous aliens

but the ones that are best at football

The problem is though, it won't be, will it. Typical of these 'dream teams' and that, it will just be the biggest NAMES, regardless of actual ability :nono:

I shall strol down to Burgess Hill tonight then and pick up my tickets !
Might see a few new faces in the starting line up.
Seems ideal to get the 2 argentinians involved.
