I don't blame Capello.

Capello Out, Harry Redknapp In

As much as I hate that crook, I have to admit he would've got more out of this bunch of champagne charlies than Capello.

It doesn't matter how many domestic leagues they've got, the next coach needs to be fluent in English.

Problem with Fabio is, he is not English

His grasp of the English language is so dire, he had to have a translator for the post-match interview. So how on earth can he communicate with the players?

Dreaming of a time when, to be English is not to be painful, standing next to our flag and not feeling shameful.

I can't see how that makes much difference, his mastery of the English language far exceeds that of most of our players!

None of which disguises the fact that we were well beaten by a very good team. Good luck to Germany. Hope they go all the way.

Capello was badly let down by his big name players. McManaman nailed it on ESPN - "maybe we're just not as good as we think we are".

They are not orators, they are footballers.

If Capello cannot give consructive criticism praise without an interpretor 5 minutes after a game. How the hell can he change tactics mid game or give any sort of inspirational team talk at half time.

He needs to go, along with a lot of the old guard.

They'll be destryoyed by argentina in the next round, which will make this performance all the worse.

Yes, this.

I'll say this about Capello - his post match interview was as embarrassing as his team's performance. If that is his level of communication, he shouldn't be in that job.

Why ? The players were a disgrace !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What about defending and keeping hold of the ball ?

When are people going to stop believing English players in the premiership top clubs means they're world class? If they were any good they'd be playing in Spain!!!
