what was your favourite Brighton goal that could be described as a WONDER GOAL of all time??......

:goal:

Following on from goal of 09/10, We seem to have hit a purple patch since Poyet arrived, but they seemed few and far between since Robert Lester Zamora and Chris McPhee sadly departed us.

Video footage could be a useful addition here.

ps. No Ali, REMF goals dont count

Oh and Colin Kazim Richards against Coventry- when he flicked it up, up, up along the byline then over the keepers head. Fantastic player he was.

Stuart Munday at Leicester - long curling dipping shot, yes he did mean it.
--I remember it cost us a lot for the rest of the season though as he tried to repeat it again and again and again, but never came close

Another vote for Nelson, collected the ball in the car park behind our goal, beat 17 players, 4 of them three times and hit a screamer from 58 yards.

Although I fondly remember Wilkins' free kick as well.

Yep, that 50 yard free kick against Ipswich where he took it from the centre circle and it bent so much on its way in it nearly went out for a throw in. And I believe it was in the 14th minute of injury time.

Exactly, I was standing in the west next to the tunnel and remember ducking (like that ball boy did on Roberto Carlos's freekick) thinking it was coming my way.

Garry Nelson - no footage of this incident exists.

Fin.

Quite. Mentioned on here before of course, but worthy of repeat. A goal the likes of which was only ever seen in Roy of the Rovers, beating at least half the opposition team having picked up the ball just inside his own half, before nearly breaking the top far corner of the net with it as he hit it across the 'keeper. Bedlam on the terraces. What a moment that was.

BZ's against Halifax will take some beating for technical ability, though.
