Piss off Gregory.

We can assume TB has more sense than to have anything to do with him anyway.
But if by some grave mischance he should come my ST gets shredded and I'll see no more games till he's gone.

I'm with you hon. I've loathed this shithead ever since he took over at Villa Park.

John Gregory = :tosser:

If Gregory's thrown his hat in........then someone ought to throw it back out again. FAST.

Albion links, check, managed at the top level, check, succesful, check.

He ticks a lot of the boxes for me and he was one of many good candidates out there, he must at least be on the shortlist.

John Gregory = Director of Football
Dennis Wise = Manager

Dream Team

I didn't know Palarse had vacancies........................

On the John Gregory question, if push comes to shove, I'd rather have him as manager than Dennis Wise any day.

Care to enlighten us then? :bla:

I personally know the 'original' scout who discovered him and one of my friends grew up with Gareth Barry in Hastings and went to school with him. He was also at the Albions centre of excellence with him and has told me the real story.

I'm not obliged to divulge the information on here because its in the past and I don't want to upset anyone, but I would go as far to say the version in the press at the time was'nt entirely accurate.

John Gregorys famous quote was'nt that far from the truth and he's been unfairly criticised in my opinion ever since.

I'm suspicious of any man that dyes his hair jet black. Gary Numan excepted.

I think gregory would be a good appointment, now coppell is not interested.

Agreed. We need an ex-player with a strong track record if we can get one. Gregory or Curbs would be ideal. Hopefully it will not be Wilson or Horton though, hardly set the worls of football management alight either of them.

 1st mention I've seen of him and I'd be delighted to have him as manager. Do Swindon need the money and would they even entertain an approach for him?

Unfortunatly, he is not likely to be supported by the lickers because of what he said about Tight all those years ago.

Great player from the Clubs golden years, wants the job, must be a serious candidate.

No! Not him, we have moved beyond when he may have been a good candidate. Yet another manager who kicks around the lower leagues without any real success.
