I saw the lovely Rachel Reeves :love::love: accusing the TORIES of playing fast and loose with the public finances. You can play fast if you wish, you may also wish to play loose bt to do both is an unforgivable sin.

Goodness me ..

"A document from Prevent, the official scheme to stop radicalisation, includes believing in socialism, communism, anti-fascism and anti-abortion in a list of potential signs of ideologies leading to terrorism.

It comes as the Conservative government considers widening what it will consider to be extremism.

The document is part of online Prevent awareness training for those covered by the duty to inform if they suspect radicalisation. That includes teachers and youth workers."

The former prime minister Theresa May will step down as an MP at the next general election after 27 years in parliament.

In a statement to the Maidenhead Advertiser, the Maidenhead MP said she wanted to focus on causes close to her heart, including her work on the Global Commission on Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.

May, who was first elected in 1997, said: “It has been an honour and a privilege to serve everyone in the Maidenhead constituency as the MP for the last 27 years.

The Education Secretary promoting assault??

"The education secretary, Gillian Keegan, told headteachers she would be tempted to punch any Ofsted inspectors who were rude during school visits – earning a rebuke from school unions and Ofsted’s chief inspector.

Speaking to the Association of School and College Leaders’ (ASCL) annual conference in Liverpool, Keegan said she had been “delighted” to hear that Ofsted inspectors had been instructed to treat staff in schools with greater respect.

“I heard recently from a fantastic school I went into, they told me how their Ofsted experience had gone, and I was shocked, I was actually shocked. I thought, ‘If I’d have met these people I’d have probably punched them.’ They were really rude."

Private hospitals are doing one in 10 of all planned NHS operations amid patients’ frustration at long delays in NHS care and political pressure to cut waiting times.

New figures seen by the Guardian prompted campaigners to warn that the NHS is “allowing the private sector to make a killing” and is seeing more and more of its services “cannibalised” because years of underinvestment mean it can no longer provide care quickly.

The only joy I will get out of this years GE is seeing Tory after Tory loosing their seat (that's if they haven't resigned already like May). I might have to take a day off for it to be honest.
