I think we probably missed Gilmour against Wolves - his vertical play to our forwards at times is brilliant. Sometimes ‘possession’ is just that - it doesn’t necessarily take us forward as we know. I do like the idea though that Barco and Hinsh are attack-minded - I wonder if having players like this in deep lying positions might reduce the amount of flaffing about a bit at those times we seem to have run out of ideas?

There IS a clear answer - he hasn't been included in the necessary squad list.

I hope so, in most games we need to mix it up more...pattern play mixed with direct approach. It worries me a bit when I hear Dunk and others say "we always know what the next pass option is" - maybe that's fine when playing out from the back, but to break down low blocks we need a variety of approaches and spontaneity.

Yaaay! Another Mackie on our hands hopefully - two players in the current Argentinian squad up there with Athlètico and Spurs. I am very chuffed for Buonanotte too - he absolutely deserves it.

A low key comp maybe but any opportunity to play with them, increases the chance of being named in the 2026 squad for the WC.

I just can’t get over us - who are we? Obviously the destination Club for Argentinian wonder kids now apparently
