I still don't think he's achieved enough yet to be appointed by the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd or Barcelona - no titles or trophies yet.

For one of the 'big' clubs to appoint him this summer would be a helluva gamble. There are high-profile managers out there on the international managerial merry-go-round who have a proven track-record of top-level success, whereas our Roberto currently has the potential to become a great manager in 3-4 years time, but he needs to prove himself with some tangible success.

But even if I'm totally wrong, and he does leave in July, then I trust the club to appoint a worthy successor to build on the work of Graham Potter and Roberto. I'd be sorry to see him leave so soon, but I wouldn't be wetting the bed!

If you pretend for one minute you are the owner of one of these massive clubs are you really going to appoint RDZ? He would be on a potential list although I would wait a couple of seasons to see if it continues or spirals. He wouldn’t get away with blowing the FA cup at Liverpool by selecting a jittery keeper for the sake of it.

I'd be staggered if he was still here by the end of June to be honest. Too many teams on the lookout for a manager, there will be a lot of churn this year and I expect he thinks that he hasn't been given the tools to get he job done.

Baleba is was off the standard required and far from Caicedo or Mac Allister it's unreal.

I am not down at the prospect of RDZ leaving, he is no world beater and a better manager would be getting more out of our squad. For starters they would try and nip the clown show defending in the bud. But I can also see why he would feel like he hasn't been backed.

If, and its a big if, he feels he hasn't been backed then he wasn't listening when it was explained how we operate. The answer to a huge number of injuries isn't to overspend in January and he's intelligent enough to know that.

The last few months he's been an absolute misery , defeatist , moany ... If he's like this with the players it's hardly inspiring is it.

I also think this seasons results are par for the course as well. Most half decent managers would have achieved the same. We've been great some matches , average others and garbage a few. Hats off for the European results but these are against teams who have much worse squads, we were always bookies favourites in all European games.

It’s not been a great PL campaign, after the first couple of months. Home wins seem pretty rare to me, that’s the bread n butter for the 90% who don’t do away games.

I’d say this is down to failed transfer business last summer (CM and FB’s) and the astonishingly unlucky injury crisis.

My only RDZ gripe is I wish we wouldn’t be so gung-ho sometimes when there’s no need eg West Ham at home. We handed shit opponents easy opportunities to attack wide open space.

I'm still convinced these injuries are no coincidence as well. There's clearly something in training or the way we play that has a direct impact. Because we had the same at the end of last season as well ...constantly down to the bare bones with 7/8 out at a time.

Plenty of other clubs have had injury issues similar to us this season, we are not unique.

Last season apart from Adam Lallana and Jeremy Sarmiento (who picked up a foot fracture on international duty) I don’t remember us having anyone out injured for any real length of time towards the end of the season. We were playing 2 games a week for pretty much the last 2 months of the season. RDZ rotated the squad to try and keep players fresh so we didn’t lose anyone to fatigue related injuries. He seemed to get that right.

After the other injuries thread the other day, I really do think that high press / work rate squads might suffer more. I wouldn’t hold that against winning coaches, it brought Dortmund and Liverpool success against clubs with far bigger budgets, Spurs are finally looking a proper team.

Whilst West Ham, Fulham, Everton and Wolves best 11’s get physically cushioned by sitting back in a 4-5-1 defence.

Not picking on you, this is an interesting discussion, which (non flavour of the month) manager and tactics would you want to get us European football? Wouldn’t we get sick of O’Neil’s mass rank low block?
