Nearly as much as Stoke City v Brighton does

Any match with the clumsy Jean Philippe Mateta up against Dyche's lumbering back line of gargantuan hoofbastards does not bode well for a quality entertainment experience. It's hard to see Roy picking Olise as they simply can't afford their replacement for Tiny Tears in the key One Man Team role to get injured in a cup tie when he's the only thing standing between them and another relegation battle. So it's probably going to be Jordan Ayew running around in circles and diving to win free kicks all night, coupled with the Brazilian boy wonder who to this point hasn't seemed to be quite the prospective Neymar they dreamed he was going to be.

In short: 90 minutes of Dyche-ball v Roy-ball. Dreamland:D
When you say dreamland, you just mean the land of nod as anyone watching will fall asleep.

This is all a big conspiracy by the super league cartel to expose how awful some Premier league teams are via prime time free to watch TV.

Hahaha. Oh, you're serious.
Not especially!!! But, technically, had the 22/23 Palace team not been the embodiment of the space that lives between mediocre and sub-optimal, they could (in theory) have reached the giddy heights of 6th. They didn’t because they’re…well…Crystal Palace FC.

Under a hour to go, I'm sure Selhurst is already bulging at the seams. When does the drum start?
I guess us playing Liverpool at home in the 4th round last year is a similar comparison - we sold it out in days and predictions suggest we could have had 90,000 home fans in there so expect Selhurst sold out within hours - looking forward to it

I’ll watch this purely as their “star boy” Franca is starting and I’ve been assured online he’s better than anything we have.

As for Mrs Brown boys, I rather watch a program that involved Roy, Parish and a glass coffee table if I’m being honest

Brighton
Olise out for palace with a transfer rumour...I mean hamstring injury
I thought it was odd he signed an extension when on the verge of joining Chelsea in the summer. I suspect there are conditions in that contract which will allow in to move this month. No point in him risking that move.

I forgot Ayew has gone to the AFCON. That will reduce the Palace free-kick count for a few weeks.

Can’t believe my son has gone to this with a gang of his Brighton mates 🤣

Meant to ask after the league game, what happened to the eagle that used to fly around before kick off? Was it rescued by Peta

He had a release clause in his previous contract which meant Chelsea thought he'd be an easy pick up for around £35m. Olise was keen enough to go.

After a few weeks, it transpired that the release clause had elements to it that Palace claimed hadn't been fulfilled, and therefore it was not valid. They weren't willing to pay the £60m+ Palace would have demanded otherwise. Olise therefore had the choice to stay at Selhurst on his £35k per week contract for the next two years, or sign a new one on at least double that, and get to move in a couple of years anyway.

So it was a no brainer. Didn't stop Palace fans from kidding themselves that he's stayed out of sheer loyalty, however.

It died (though not of shame, as you might have thought).
