If he was on CPR for 15 minutes, he could easily have been dead at 30 even if his heart was back beating. He may still end up with some long term issues.
For me, there’s nothing wrong with discussing it in a sensible and sensitive way, though I get where you’re coming from. When a prominent politician dies you always get heartless idiots saying 'good riddance" which I find truly horrible. But when a player collapses I think it’s fine to respectfully pass comment, especially when you hear that he’s 'alert and responsive'. It's the third time he’s collapsed during a game, and sadly for him, and his teammates and their fans, he may well be now advised to curtail his career. But of course we all wish him well in his recovery.
I suspect the advice he will get will not be what he wants to hear. Fingers crossed for no long term implications, and a speedy recovery

Maybe not but would a club be happy picking up the tab, one for the medical stuff but also the cost of games being disrupted. Today would likely to have cost a lot of money to the club's involved.
No reason for it to be a legal requirement to insure one’s own health but there may be a sort of mandatory 3rd party liability insurance in case you accidentally end someone else’s career. Clubs do insure players against permanent injury to help protect their investment. I’m sure some policies will include insurance cover for the player too.
I would suggest his friends and family should come into consideration on that - and also players who may play with him - or against him. Incidents can be very traumatic for them too.
