What the actual f*** was that second half?!

I was in emotional tumult at half time...I don't know what the word is to describe what I'm feeling now.

That end of the match penalty/corner/goal kick thing feels like the 2023 version of that man utd after the final whistle penalty.

What was going on at the end? Who was kicking off? Sanchez was giving it some? To our players? Staff fans?
Sanchez had a pop at the fans Pedro and JPvH were less than impressed and gave him a bit of a bump…..

Then there were handbags as RdZ went towards the officials, I think from my viewpoint Potch May have already been remonstrating…..

What did the Mitoma dive look like on TV? Any case?

What a messy game.

Officials poor again today but ultimately we paid the price for a mad 5 minutes in the first half.
I thought it was a very poor game overall, we have got used to quality football very quickly though . . . when you look back at the football. . . Just bitty and shitty, aided and abetted by the predictably woeful officials. Chelsea are disjointed mercenaries at best.

Probably should have gone yes.

But we already had 45mins against 10, still doesn’t help the fact we didn’t trouble Sanchez enough, Adingra kept making the wrong decision & defensively we were poor.
Totally different game against 9 men though.

I have to agree Levi who,? I didn't like his celebrating and his all around attitude, you'd would have thought he hated everyone at the club.
Indeed. He was a bit of cock at the end with lots squaring up and pushing. He couldn't even get his ' goal non celebration ' right. He was about to give it big and then realised that he didn't want to go large as it was us. Twunt!

Sorry to sound like a sanctimonious prick, and I know you're not trying to be malicious, but posting a photo of this bloke is a bit OTT, and personally I think the photo should be deleted.
I partly agree . . . More constructively, it would be good to know who how why etc . . . . Track record, fake CV, was a weapons grade c*** at corners for ten years before getting a doctorate in set piece mastery? Who knows? Italian? Welsh? Bass player from an Abba tribute act?

Whatever . . . . It does appear to be a weakness for us . . . And has been for years. But . . . IF, currently, thats because we're better than virtually everyone else at actually playing football, I can live with it.

Re Adingra spot on, I honestly thought he’d be the one to be withdrawn.

Steele didn’t cover himself in glory particularly on the second goal, he simply has to come for the corner…. Made up for it shortly afterwards though.

So frustrating

He was great for us, we were great for him . . . It could have gone either way in the summer.

He's history now and most of us won't remember him fondly after today. I thought his gamesmanship was proper chelsea.

Appreciate Chelsean down to 10 but great credit going to Chelsea and dominating game. Lost because of crap defending.

Defensively we were shocking today… that’s why we lost 😞 plain and simple. It’s not too surprising given our current injury/suspension list… but to be honest we’ve been conceding goals fun in the PL all season… it needs to be addressed.

That said, I expected a defeat today and was pleasantly surprised that we were as competitive as we were.

Looking forward to Brentford already.
Failure to replace Mac and Caciedo allows teams to attack to easily

Just got back , igor was immense, our midfield like Athens is non existent, Mitoma looked good when came on and Pedro wow he’s a powerhouse, but the midfield is a proper concern

The point has probably been made but only 2 players who started today started when we outclassed Chelsea in April. The departures and injuries are really impacting us at the moment.

I don't think you sound sanctimonious.
His photo is out in the public domain and much as we post pictures of players and other BHA staff when we call them out for something good, I think we should be allowed to do the same if they're worthy of the opposite.
Now I'm sure this guy tries really hard at his job but he just seems to be failing in his role.
No reason to not call him out.

However, saying that, others can find BHA first team set piece coach with a simple Google search
and I'm not a vicious person and don't like being mean, upsetting people in any way so I'll delete his picture.
I'm sure we're all sick of being reminded just how poor our set pieces are anyhow.

How many opportunities did we get to shoot - but instead tried to walk the ball into the net. ffs.
Yep. Still has loads more goal attempts than Chelsea though……bit of an odd performance

Now we've all seen replays, it looks like he did. But at the time, and soon afterwards, no-one realised he had. Not the fans, not the players, and not the TV commentators.

No. Going down already, for no real reason.
I did. He pointed straight to the spot - but must have been baffling in the ground.
