Not supporting NF in anyway but you have to wonder about all these banks - they seem to open accounts so easily for scammers.

Quite a claim, that. Would those be PLC scammers, or private scamming companies not listed on the stock exchange, but with accessible websites?

They should clarify why they have done it, not sure we want to live in a country where peoples accounts are shut, it will be easy for them to confirm why without going into details.

3. I don't think bank accounts should just be shut without a reason, which he claims.

There's a possibility his balances amount to less than a million which is a minimum amount needed for a Coutts account. I doubt it but that's a valid reason for that bank to close an account.

He claims it's the establishment but even HSBC has turned him down since, as have five other banks.

Tel has swallowed the fact that Nigel 'man of the people - we're one of the same' Farage is the same man that used to bank with Coutts, so chances are Tel will believe anything.

Money laundering and know your customer checks have had to be run by banks for years. It’s likely Farage will be classed as a PEP and therefore subject to additional financial checks. Most banks do it in most of the world.
