Not a betting company, and not the local carpet company, that's some pretty decent shirt sponsorship there.
The fact they made this joke shows they understand that it's actually something that should never be done. They do seem to be a rare breed of American (/Canadian) owners that have really got what the club, and English football as a whole, is about.
I mean they currently have TikTok so arguably its a downgrade.

I'm just going to let you guys know that "cazzo" in Italian is probably the most common swearword (equivalent to "fu*k" in usage even though it literally means "co*k".) So when we Serie A fans see those teams like Aston Villa that have "CAZOO" (which would be pronounced as "cazoh!" in Italian - so like "fuuk!") as shirt sponsor, we usually have a laugh/crack some obvious punsI've seen worse:

This is probably one of the biggest benefits of Rob & Ryan and the Welcome to Wrexham show. This, and Tik Tok before it, are huge sponsors for that level of the football pyramid. I was looking at this year's League Two kits and outside of Stevenage's Prime Gaming (i.e. Amazon) and Walsall's Poundland (LOL), it's lot of obscure sponsors that I have certainly never heard of (maybe some are much better known in the UK that I realize)

A little bit strange that an American airline would want to sponsor Wrexham though isn't it? It's not as if they can start flying there. I suppose it's just about the promotion of the brand on the shirt and clearly Wrexham are going to be enormous in the US whilst Reynolds and McElhenney are involved but it strikes me as strange.
Especially as TikTok are the current/previous sponsor, I doubt they were paying peanuts for the privilege but that seemed to be a more obvious tie in.

Having lived in Canada for 4 years, British tradition, community and humour, as exemplified by a town hundred of years old, and the love for its football club, is something that does not exist in such new nations. They aren't old enough. In America they are still sentimental about guns. FFS.
