If we can't get Colwill, Pavlovic (left footed CB at Salzburg) is a solid defender who can play out from the back. Won the Austrian league with Salzburg this year, and previously the Serbian Cup with Partisan Belgrade. His Champions League experience this season included draws against Milan and Chelsea and a win against Roma in the Europa League. Perhaps not as cultured as Colwill going forward, but a better defender.

Apparently Toddy boy lobbed into the chelsea dressing room and gave the players a tongue lashing after the city thrashing (?) which would indicate to the positive.
