Surely the millions in transfers not reinvested in purchasing players, the club can afford to reduce season tickets...what a statement that would be. Oh and a bottle of champagne each to celebrate please...

Number of reasons didn’t renew this season, one of them cost, another various ko times clashing with other things.

Been picking and choosing our games, and my 12yo son has enjoyed our tour of the ground as I try to get a different stand / block for each game. Reckon we’ll end up doing 10 games or so. STs for us we’re £750 I think, outlay this season will be about £400. I miss going to each game, but it’s working out well for his enthusiasm as games are much more of a treat now.

Going to miss the loyalty points if things progress past Stoke!!
If we get to the final surely the clubs allocation will mean every STH is guaranteed a seat? Doubt that will leave many more available though. Thoughts??

Last year...

"Chelsea and Liverpool were both issued 30,500 tickets each when they initially went on sale for Saturday's showpiece despite the capacity of Wembley being 90,000. The Blues have since issued an update confirming they had additional 2,264."

as a returning season ticket holder in my own right this season so having paid over 11 months rather than 12 I'm anticipating my monthly direct debit being around the same amount even with an increase

"Club Wembley guests also get to enjoy the benefits of hospitality packages with food and drink and some may choose to watch the game from inside on TV screens, meaning their seat will be vacant in the stadium." The days of the working man (or woman or any other gender) watching his team play are long gone, the 'introduction' of the corporate man (or woman or any other gender) often destroys football. They are more interested in scoffing cucumber and prawn or salmon or strawberry jam or maybe marmite sandwiches and refilling their non-expresso (they arent quick back to their seats even if they bother returning or sitting there in the 1st place apparently) and not what I term 'real' fans. Back to Wembley - a disgrace that the competing teams have such a low allocation. NO idea what clubs do if they have more STH than that poor allocation - lucky dip?

In a previous job I had, I was often invited to corporate events ... including games at Wembley ... which included a couple in Club Wembley for England games. I got funny looks from the other people around the table (full of food and drink) as I got up before the game started and also at HT, to be in my seat before kick off (loads of empty seats around me for ages). I was there for the football ... not to chat business talk with very senior people from within the mortgage industry.

For another rather infamous England game I had a corporate invite to ... the 3-2 defeat by Croatia ... "The Wally with the Brolly" ... we weren't in Club Wembley but had food/drinks in one of the other corporate areas ... which was a long way from our seats. At HT the people I was with all got up to head off for more sustenance. Me and one other chap worked out by the time we'd got a beer in our hands we'd need to head back to be in our seats for the start of the second half ... so we stayed put!.

I was never really cut out for the real corporate side of corporate entertainment ... !!

If we get to the final and we get an allocation of 30k, I don't really have a problem with that. Meets our STH requirement and then some. Don't care if STH of the opponents miss out. Last time we were in the final it seemed some of our allocation ended up with Utd fans, hope that wouldn't happen again.

It wouldn’t be unreasonable to take into account the millions spent on getting to this position though.

Last season will almost certainly show a profit with White, Burn and a few other smaller sales, and this season the profit will be even bigger. However up until that point, I believe that Bloom had ploughed in around 250-300m of his own money.
